Great news everyone! You may now do your international ebay shopping and pay in peso with PAYplus+ (Pay via BancNet and Megalink ATM cards) and d2dstation.com (send money to international accounts). With the integration of these 2, you may now use your local atm account to send money to Paypal users worlwide! This will surely be a big help to this expensive hobby we have.

ngar!! no BPI!! :P
-
this is indeed a very good news!. thanks greg for the heads up!
:)
-
How does this work exactly? Don't we need a non-Philippine bank account? ???
Bakit walang BPI?! :'(
-
I don't think this will click. D2D still charges an amount to send payment to a paypal account.
WHAT WE NEED IS THE REAL THING: PAYPAL!
-
Announcement: We regret to inform that D2D Station will temporarily cease accepting Paypal payments due to its inability to process credit card payments for the past few weeks. However we will continue to resolve this issue with Paypal and try to restore its service back the soonest possible time. However, you can now use your credit card to pay for your remittances fast, easy and secure thru our new payment gateway - PAYSAT!
Just wasted my time when I registered! hehehe
TO EBAYPH OFFICIALS: WE WANT PAYPAL NOW! >:(

A local ATM account from BancNet or Megalink would do. However not all banks are registered yet. Kindly just check on the list of member banks enabled for online transactions (there should be around 20 banks all in all). I'm sorry to say the we haven't tapped into BPI's network (expressnet) as of this time as they themselves are promoting their own eCommerce initiative with myayala.com.

does this announcement mean we can't send money to paypal users using d2d station? or paypal users cannot send money to the philippines using d2d station?
-
Good point sir subtitle!
d2d is not yet allowed to accept payments from paypal accounts! But they are now able to process payments to these accounts! The service is now up and running! This gives us the opportunity to get our hands on hard to find r1 dvds! :)
There's definitely no harm in trying!
d2d ofcourse has a transaction fee. I guess it's $3.00 per transaction. That's how they get their earnings for this type of service.
-
This is how it works.
1. Shop/surf for products at ebay (international).
2. Take note of the agreed final amount, seller's paypal account and email address
3. Go to http://www.d2dstation.com/?m=services&serv=2paypal to pay via your local ATM account
4. You have to input the transaction details (buyer, seller, amount, etc...) and d2d will convert the amount into Peso and add their fee for you to pay with your atm card via PAYplus+.
5. After successful payment to d2d, they will forward your payment to the seller/beneficiary's paypal account.
6. Seller gets the money you/d2d paid for and he/she will send you the product you bought.
-
just to clarify, i can use d2d station to send money to anyone who has a paypal account, and not just to ebay users, correct? i can use it to pay for other sites that accept paypal?
-
YES! :)
-
great! one more question: i signed up at payplus, and enrolled an atm card. looking at the menu, i can only see past transactions or history. how exactly do i pay d2d station?
-
go through the process at http://www.d2dstation.com/?m=services&serv=2paypal
At the end, you will be redirected to PAYplus+ to pay d2d.
-
You will surely go nuts when you go to eBay. You want to buy almost everything there. Thanks for the info, greg! :)
-
this is indeed good news! i'm gonna try it out now... ;)
now how do i control my impulsive ebaying.... ??? :-\ :'(
-
hi greg, i emailed you something.
-
cool! will try it out...been wanting to ebay for quite some time..... to look for books actually and not dvds....hehehehehehe ;D
-
has anyone tried this already?
-
i have tried sending a small amount to a paypal user. natanggap naman niya.
-
hmmm...i always browse at ebay, para ngang gusto mo bilhin lahat ng makita mong ayos :)...
sir subtitle, newbie question lang anout this. pano yung warranty sa deffective item?
-
warranty when buying from ebay? it is between you and the item seller. just ask the seller questions before making your bid. and there's a proper ebay thread here somewhere, you can post your questions there too.
-
where can you have the item shipped? in your preferred address or you have to claim it at the post office?
-
Guys infrom ko lang kayo na temporarily disconnected yung BancNet connection due to a required system migration. Hope fully by next month pwede na ulit! Megalink network is still online :)
-
so that's why i couldnt register my mbtc account! oh well......
-
sir greg, i suggest you also put a warning on the payplus site that your bancnet connection is down. i almost got a negative feedback from a seller because i was not able to pay him. :(
-
Any feedback on this? Ok na ba ulit ung bancnet connection? I'm interested in signing up if this can be used for paypal transactions.
-
Though I'm no longer with YEHEY! nor PAYplus+, I still feel obliged to respond to this. :) The service was shut down by Bancnet due to some uncertainties with THEIR security. They had PAYplus+, a proprietary system of YEHEY! improved on some security features however the said uncertainties or loopholes were never addressed internally by Bancnet due to the fact that we have a rushed and a very vague e-commerce law in the country. As for Megalink, I don't have an idea now, but they were just cautious as well. Sayang talaga yung technology, and we WERE the first to develop and launch an online debit system pa naman.
Right now i dont know what's going on with YEHEY!/PAYplus+, but one thing is for sure... this is/was a legitimate WORLD-CLASS system.
if you have questions email them nalang [email protected] / [email protected]
-
very helpful greg. thanks for the feedback.
;)

Sayang nga... eh, ganun naman talaga ang Pinas eh...
I hope someone else will step forward and take on the task to tap international e-stores - and when we purchase - we won't be declined (just because we are in the Pinas).
