Sus DOD ang mahal!!! The shipping is almost same or even more than the value of the item itself. I really don't get its shipping points or whatever..

Ordered 5 Kung Fu movies which I think was a good deal at US$47.20 (inclusive of shipping via EMS)

Fong Sai Yuk
Format: ( Hong Kong )     1    US$6.99    US$6.99

King Of Beggars
Format: ( Hong Kong )    1    US$5.99    US$5.99

King Of Comedy
Format: ( Hong Kong )    1    US$5.99    US$5.99

The Tai Chi Master
Format: ( Hong Kong )   1    US$5.99    US$5.99

The Young Master
Format: ( Hong Kong )   1    US$5.99    US$5.99

Shipping cost via Express Courier:    US$16.25

     Total:    US$47.20

Problem is, it's been a week and the order still hasn't shipped.  Was informed by Sensasian that most of these dvd's were backordered.  So, you might want to stick to more current titles in case you want speedy delivery (i.e., House of Flying Daggers dvd set was delivered within a week from ordering)   :)

stick to the regular edition dvds, they have reasonable shipping rates for those, specially if you choose airmail. as much as possible, stay away from the box sets and special packaging LEs because although they are priced reasonably (a marketing ploy to make you think they're really cheap) the insanely unreasonable shipping charge is what's gonna kill you.  if you're after the box sets and LEs, try the other online stores first.  ;D

well, i went and ordered since i couldn't find the title that i wanted from other online stores.
it has already shipped.  i chose express shipping, which should only take 3-5 days to ship... based on hongkong post speedpost tracking, it has arrived here in the philippines on dec 23 but seems to have stopped there as "arrived and is being processed"... *sigh*
pag hongkong post speedpost ba, it will arrive at your doorstep? or pickup sa post office?

tnx!

i ordered from a taiwan-based online store. it was delivered to manila on dec 18 via ems aka speedpost. no notification from post office til now.

ideally, it should be delivered straight to the address posted. there is a big chance though that your package is in the custody and good hands of  customs for assessment.
