Post by: uebetan12 on May 07, 2006 at 07:55 AM
i recently bought dvds from the amazon.co.uk website through my banco de oro international atm card.....
pwede siya

puro region 2 na PAL ang binili ko kasi di na available ang mga dvd movies na yon sa region 1........OOP na

here are the titles i bought:

a matter of life and death {1946} no. 20 on the British film institute's greatest british movies list, one of the greatest movies ever made

but i can safely say that this movie should have been on the top 5.......ive looked and waited for this movie for 5 long and agonizing years

wuthering heights {1939} included sa AFI 100 greatest american movies list

duck soup {1933}

they deliver here at pinas pero you'll have to pick it up at your local post with customs charge.  Not via royal logistics.

I haven't gotten taxed for anything I've ordered from them. I keep it below $50, shipping included.

On deliveries, I'd say half my Amazon UK purchases arrive at my home, the other half I pick up at the post office.

HOWEVER, I've been having great difficulty with Amazon UK deliveries ever since the Cubao post office burned down. I used to receive my packages from them about one week after shipping. Now it's usually a week AFTER estimated delivery date. Plus, out of my last 4 orders, 2 have needed replacing. One arrived TWO MONTHS after estimated delivery date (and I had received the replacement already). The other was replaced a month ago, and neither the original nor the replacement have arrived.  :-[
