San Mig is really a top brand in that area. I used to work in Shenzhen, and in the blubs and bars San Mig is considered a premium beer. The "in" crowd only drink San Mig, Heineken or Corona. San Mig also has the most gorgeous promo girls in all of the clubs! ;D

The tie up was already there since "Shaolin Soccer." If you remember, it was a San Mig can that got kicked to high heavens by Stephen Chow in that film.
