What are your favorite theme songs? Here's my short list:

The opening songs from:

1) Perfect Strangers
2) Cheers
3) The Greatest American Hero

And I really hate the them song of Family Ties.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (one of the few guitar-heavy songs I really really like)
Daimos ending credits song (I don't understand the words but I don't care!)
The Equalizer (nice arrangement!)
Felicity (the song's title is A New Version Of Me)
The Facts Of Life (sung by Maureen McGovern, who also sang the theme song of the Poseidon Adventure and the Towering Inferno)
The Flying House theme (both with or without lyrics)
The Golden Girls (what an inspiring song)
The Greatest American Hero (another positive song)
MacGyver (seems so appropriate for the series)
Wonder Woman theme ( ;D)

I've always been a fan of TV Theme songs, by chance I was able to get these CD's and listen to TV themes when I wish. Browsing through Amazon for the links, I saw that additional volumes were added. I'd say "Welcome Back" and "Suicide is Painless" are tops on my list. But I also like the grandeur of "Dallas" and "Dynasty". We actually end up just listening to the whole CD and guess where the theme song comes from. ;)

Ooh, download ! That I didn't do yet! Hehehe. Thanks jay-z! ;D Downloading theme.....

And, again on themes, I just found out about this the other day --- the Frasier Theme Song was actually sang by Kelsey Gramer! I thought it was an old standard song, original pala. And here's something more from alt.tv.frasier:

Subject: 5.04 What does "Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs" mean?[/b]
From: David Lee -  Frasier creator/producer?

David Lee writes:

"Its been fun watching the different theories regarding the meaning of  "Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs" pop up over the last few years.  I don't   think "Hamlet" has been as closely scrutinized or more divergently   interpreted.

Here is what I (and the songwriters and other two creators of the show)   thought it meant when we decided on it.

Hey baby I hear the blues a'callin' -  play on words:  He's got the blues and referencing that he takes phone calls

Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs -  mixed up people who call in

And maybe I seem a bit confused, Well, maybe, but I got you pegged -  the core of Frasier's character:  He is a nutcase himself much of the  time, but can analyze the problems of others

But I don't know what to do with those tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs -   except these damn callers

    They're callin' again - they're calling again"

Galing! 8)
