Title: Rope Caulk?

Been hearing a lot about the use of Rope caulks inside CD players to control internal vibration....anybody knows if it's available here...thanks ;D

I think its is available just about any ACE or True Value. I bought some before and applied to the innards of my dvd player. But the thing is you have to be sure you want to do that. The caulk will bond and harden after a few days and it's very hard, if not impossible, to remove.

Thanks Garp...i think the rope caulk mentioned is the one used for weather stripping doors and windows, the soft type that has adhesive on one side which you just peel off for easy application...i think i found it at Ace although am still verifying if its the same material... :)
