After months of speculation about its fate, Everwood was not picked up by The CW. Unbelieveable, especially since 7th Heaven did a farewell episode already, and One Tree Hill's ratings were just as bad as Everwood's, if not lower?
This series was one I said "Looks stupid" to when I first heard about it, but I was intrigued when the first season was suddenly recommended to me by Amazon based on my previous DVD purchases. When it went on sale, I purchased it, and was hooked. I thought it would be another Dawson's Creek clone, when it actually played more like Northern Exposure Lite - city doctor moves to provincial town with quirky residents.
I then began following the third and fourth seasons, and am now sadly awaiting next week's two-hour series finale. I hope they anticipated their cancellation and resolved their major plot points, instead of their usual "season cliffhanger."
If anyone can point me in the right direction to find Season Two (broadcast network, cable channel, foreign DVD, torrent, file share... anything!), I'll be very grateful. 8)

Season Two episodes are available every so often on Limewire, usually late in the evening through early morning. ;D I was surprised to see Marcia Cross in that season. Brenda Strong is really being typecasted as a tragic heroine. Her male counterpart is Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Thanks! I've seen those, pero tingi-tingi. Hard not to watch an entire season. I hope this gets a DVD release soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

Another sad Everwood news. The rest of the seasons may not come out on DVD (http://www.tvguide.com/News/Insider/default.htm?cmsRedir=true&rmDate=05292006&cmsGuid=%7B144FA27C-CB94-4064-A919-9D83C35D6C9A%7D). :(

I figured as much, which is why I said I wasn't holding my breath. Same case for American Dreams - I've been waiting for more DVDs but have realized that's just probably never gonna happen.
These "family dramas" just don't sell well on DVD.
But who knows? After all, Once and Again's second season finally came out on DVD last year after a... four year wait?

Season 2 (Everwood) is available in tvtorrents.com if you're still looking.

Thanks a lot, sardaukar, I'll check it out!
Sorry for the late response - was selectively clicking threads and missed this one due to my internet speed problems.
-
No problem. I'm surprised you're not a member (or are you?) of tvtorrents given your interest in most things tv. :)
-
I'm actually NOT, since even without it, my TV plate is already pretty full.
Heck, it's full enough for maybe 3-4 people. ::)

It looks like ETC will air the second season starting this Friday, 4 August at 8PM. Been looking for this. Thanks a lot, ETC!
-
My DV-R's already set to record it weekly, so I will still eventually own a DVD of this despite Warner Home Video's lack of faith in the title. ;D
Talk about a family-friendly Friday schedule for ETC. Everwood followed by American Dreams?
Unfortunately, no one's ever home on Friday nights... :-\
;D

Click the City posted the following replay schedules:

Hankey, did you know that season 3 started airing on ETC already?
Was able to catch the 2nd epi last Tue by accident. Darn! I missed the premiere.

I'm actually done with Season 3. It's backed up, so PM me if you have any viewing problems... ;D
