Not in my must-see-must-own list so I wouldn't buy at full price, but would buy if on half-price sale or thereabouts:

Crank (already cheap but wouldn't mind going 299 or lower)

yes I like to see these on sale also, hopefully very soon, Pirates, xmen3 and devil wears prada are on top of my list

When I was in Astro Glorietta the night before the recent midnight madness sale, I overheard one of the salesperson there that they would be bringing down the steelbox release to P2500. But I don't know if that actually pushed through.

the departed, and 300 ;D kahit di pa na rerelease!  ;D - got the helmet gift set edition. when the steel book edition goes on sale, pag meron pa ill also get one ;D

I think I saw these titles recently in the buy-one-take-one sale at Astro for 895, effectively halving each price. 

A single disc Devil Wears Prada is marked down at 299.

thanks for the info! saw this on sale now but i'm having thoughts of getting 1 because of the case  ???

robin hood mwe is on sale (or mispriced  :P ;D) on most video shops (at 299) - i think i saw one at nbs glorietta. got mine at sale price at rustans glorietta

Superman UC Steelbook and Rome season 1 were on sale last week during the midnight madness (Superman sold at 3k while Rome i think at 1k) :)

sana it can be lowered down to 299 already.

                              POLTERGEIST 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION - Very disappointing release to think that it's one of most celebrated movies of the '80's and it deserves to have a plethora of special features (look at what Anchor Bay has done with John Carpenter's 25th Anniversary release of HALLOWEEN). Hopefully the Tobe Hooper-helmed haunted house flick will goes down to P199 in the future but I think matagal pa 'yun. Parang 'di worth 'yung price on the market although mas mahal pa rin ang price niya sa Singapore and it is the same Region 3 release. :(

you got that right.  i have the r3 snapcase version of this which was so bare bones.  when i heard they were coming out with the 25th anniversary ed, i was sorta ecstatic because i was hoping they would at least include a featurette on the so-called poltergeist curse that plagued two of the female stars,  but sadly, there isnt.

             Me, too. The 'infamous' POLTERGEIST CURSE is very much expected by any horror fans or even just a plain viewer in this DVD. I was kind of expecting that as part of a feature in its 25th Anniversary release. I think your POLTERGEIST DVD (which is black and errie, I believe) even has a better 'cover' than the ones recently released. Region 1 released a darker shade of blue while the Region 3 is 'white'. Which segues me to: THE LADY IN WHITE (1988) (a great film, by the way) released by MGM has an impressive features. It's not even labeled as 'special or deluxe edition.'
