I haven't jumped into the HD yet but this could be one deciding factor.

Paramount means Godfather, Indiana Jones, Star Trek and Transformers to me

Hi juancho,

To avoid double thread, this topic is already in discussion under this link: :)

HD DVD & Blu-ray News (http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=65724.msg719801#new)

Yes, as HD DVD & PS3 players are getting cheaper thus making it affordable to enter into the HD world. Cheers!  ;)

This is such a major news development (profoundly upsetting to the BR camp and fanboys)  that is everywhere on the net  that I think it deserves a separate thread here.  AVforums has a separate one on this and is only about 11 pages long.   ;D

I agree with av_phile1, this news is too big to just be buried in the general HD DVD & Blu-ray News thread. I split all those items into a separate thread: http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=70087.0

Please continue discussions there. This thread is locked.
