Was able to watch some programs on this new Skycable channel--their programming seems limited to shows that verge on the extra-ordinary/mystical/supernatural. Some series were a surprise, like The X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is aired daily and started from Season 1, episode 1.
New series will include The Dresden Files and Painkiller Jane (both already cancelled in the USA), and Northern Mysteries with Kenneth Walsh, a several part Canadian docu-series.

The Dresden Files is worth a watch while Painkiller Jane sucks a s s bigtime.
-
Yeah I've heard conflicting reports on Jane.
Better stick to the comics with that one.
-
Just saw the pilot ep of Buffy the other day on Beyond.
-
My TV's perpetually on this channel now. The programming's the type that's right up my alley.
-
havent had the chance to check it out, one query though, is this painkiller jane based on the old painkiller jane comic book by quesada and palmiotti or is it an altogether new beast?
-
yup it is.
Yeah I've heard conflicting reports on Jane.
Better stick to the comics with that one.
-
oh, sorry. i missed that second sentence. :-[

I seem to have the worst luck ever every time I tune in to this channel, as Roswell is always on--I just can't stand that show. :P

Didn't know that this channel transformed into some kind of women's lifestyle channel. So far, I've seen cringe-inducing crap like Grey's Anatomy, The Real Housewives of whatever-city-they-want-to-feature, and that retard Rachel Ray being aired here--shows that don't even fit the sci-fi/supernatural/out of the ordinary category anymore. Guess they needed the money, LOL.
And that's another channel added to my ignore list.

AXN Beyond will transform into BeTV this April 2, 2012.
...Sony Pictures Television doesn't seem to know what to do with this station--it was launched as a station with sci-fi/supernatural shows, then turned into a pseudo-women's lifestyle crap channel, and now this...identity crisis, anyone? :D
