Megamall is having a mall wide sale from May 2-4. Don't know how good Astro or Odyssey's participation will be...

nothing great, still couldn't find POTC-3 2-disc; Troy Director's Cut still not included in sale and some C-Interactive releases are priced at P250 while same titles at VCity are at P199.  ::)

I bought Fantastic 4 - Silver Surfer (2disc) for PHP350.00 and Bad Boys 1 and 2 (single disc) at PHP 150.00 each. 

My friend bought The Fast and the Furious, Gods Must be Crazy, Walk to Remember and Black Hawk Down at PHP 150.00 each too.

Dami murang titles now. I'm currently trying to convince myself not to go back to Astro... ;D

don't have much time so didn't bother looking closely at the 350 & up titles, i'd just wait for them to go down to 199 in the future :)

Hopefully there's still Planet Earth by the time I get there tomorrow. :) I also noticed na pamura nang pamura yung ibang dvd's every time na nagkaka-sale :) Good for us!

Magnavision had really low prices, most of the titles I bought yesterday were Magna titles.

I did not bother to buy any Fox/Disney titles because they were priced at php199
In the previous sales they were priced at php175  :-\

That is why we need to be smart in buying dvd's nowadays, hintay-hintay na lang ng sale before buying. Imagine Planet Earth regular price is 1.5k but when on sale they can give it at half its orig price.   Maybe because they are getting ready na with Bluray because I noticed in some Astro Branches they are already selling it na and maybe also because of quality p#$&*d dvd's out there they are now forced to sell it at a lower price kahit na mabawasan na lang kita nila.

I bought Planet Earth for P750 and Longest Day (2 disc) for P199. Ive been watching Planet Earth and it is as good as the reviews say.

Unfortunately for me wala ng Planet Earth nung pumunta ako kaninang hapon. Naubos na raw yung 20 copies nila kahapon pa. Yun pa naman ang pinunta ko sa Mega.  :( Well...I just bought the following:

Sorry late reply doc.

Boxsets were at 50% off.  The HEROES SEASON 1 was now at P750 ( down from the P999 sale price last time at Astro Podium and Greenhills ).  However, the PRISON BREAK S1 and S2 were "just" 50% thus priced at P1,500.  It used to hover also at P999 during the last Astro sales.

Good thing I always have my Astrovision business card that has all Astro branches' numbers in my wallet..Your most wanted dvd is just a dial away for reservation..

And Planet Earth is truly a gem!  Awesome is all I can describe it. The 1st episode alone should make you yearn for more! It's like a good book that's hard to drop once you flip the first page.

No wonder it sold fast than any other titles during the sale. Swerte ko!
