Excellent news, fellow Chuck fans! Our national crisis (okay, our waiting game on a TV show we love) is over - Chuck has been renewed!
And that's not all, as another "bubble" show of interest to genre fans, ABC's V, is also returning.
Deadline Hollywood broke the news on both series, confirming the recent positive word that both were receiving about potential picks ups - TVByTheNumbers.com also reported earlier this week that a reliable source told them Chuck was returning.
It's believed that Chuck has been renewed for thirteen episodes for Season 4, with an option for nine more. No word yet on how big V's order is for Season 2. (Update: its 13)

Although I know a lot of us will be disappointed if Chuck ended but I think Season 4 should be the last. Kasi it came full circle na from him, to his dad and now his mom (which will be the focus of Season 4 I assume). Hindi kasi siya parang other series na madami sub plots and paminsan minsan lang lumabas yung big story (i.e. The Mentalist with Red John). Kaya mahihirapan sila i-sustain beyond Season 4 if they finish the mom's story there.

From the looks of it, their current story arc in season 4 can go on for a fifth season. 13 episodes is standard for an American series season. Nae-extend lang ito kapag gusto ng network na umabot hanggang sweeps or for many other reasons.

I think we can expect a full season of at least 22 episodes for chuck... according sa link below at wiki there are still episodes to be shown after episode 13.
