ABC Family has premiered a new super hero action/comedy, The Middleman. Adapted from a comic book by former Lost writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach (and the comic itself was adapted from an unsold TV pilot Grillo-Marxuach wrote in the '90s), The Middleman is at once retro and post-modern, the sort of result you'd get if you threw The Tick and the '50s black-and-white Superman TV show into a blender. I heard it's quite a lot of fun.

love this show. Retro, 50s scifi, witty, comedy that floats around and then just hits. - gold!
the premise isn't that much though, I watched it out of boredom, turns out to be really good.
