A welcome respite for us northeners!  For the past several weeks, my will (to resist) has been weak and my wallet has been weary from the onslaught of DVD sales, left and right. ;D

Hope you guys down south get good deals!  :D

i wonder if there will be further price reductions or additional items included in this sale. been to astro clark last saturday (august 2) and they have this on-going buy one take one sale. the usual stuff -- pay the higher priced item. but the sale is applicable only to thse titles with the buy 1 take 1 stickers.

was able to buy the following:

bad boys 1 and 2 - buy one take one for 375
das boot (director's cut) - 200 and the pursuit of happyness - 375... (buy 1 take 1) paid 375 for both

the following were part of the buy 1 take 1 stuff

DOA - 375
Road to perdition - 250
air force one - 199
the fugitive - 199
harry potter and the order of the phoenix -350

had i known of this forthcoming sale, i could have waited for a few more days. too bad...  >:(

on the other hand, this could be a blessing  in disguise as this would give me the chance to buy the other titles i passed up on due to its price. on second thought... ;D ;D ;D
