Title: analog tape - tinapon nyo na ba?

i have lots of analog tapes sa province, high school/college days,....
mas convenient kc dahil i can use with my walkman,..sayang dapat namili/collect din ako ng mga lps.

ano na ba mga ginagawa nyo sa analog tapes nyo?, minsan sinilp ko ung mga tapes ko sa province, medyo sira na ung iba..sayang,pero ok pa rin naman ung iba.

Still in a box, hidden in my cabinet of old stuff...

Brought it out the other day and reminisce of many good times playing them and reminded me of so many
good times along the way...

Great remembrance of the past...

dami talagang memories, high schooldays...like it better than college...he he

since tinitipid  ko ung battery ng walkman, what i do is tinitiklop ko ung 5 pesos na papel, pang rewind/fast forward...

nagamit ko din sa pangkodiko sa mga subject na puro enumeration ang exam, using earphones, dahil that time uso ung " The Cure" na mga hairstyles...so tago ung cables ng earphones, kaso nung naging successful at ginaya ng iba...nahuli nang instructor,,,..we he he.

pag uwi ko ng province,,,itatago ko na lng muna, then pag lolo na ko..i play ko uli...he he

same here :).
still have my own recorded tapes, mostly new wave personal recordings.
currently boxed with some dessicants.
will try to resurrect my tape deck, currently semi retired and listen to them.
konting tip: if not using, try to rewind and past forward the tapes paminsan minsan to exercise the tape belt and  minimize if not avoid mold formation.

hindi pa. nasa isang box nakatago sa ilalim ng kama. i play them paminsan minsan.

same here @ 320kbps. some albums i didn't bother dahil most of them are downloadable naman.

@reynold: all you need is pc with a decent soundcard (important here is the ADC ng soundcard), adobe audtion, cool edit (or any) and lots of hard drive space. Let me know if you need help.

         Still had them mostly soundtracks. We still have working cassette decks so I still used them most especially those of Christmas albums now. Even sort the tapes by theme/category.

others have played by my pamangkins, so hinila yung ribbon ayun lukot lukot...

my topnachers cassete tape is the billboard and kings record "hard case" dinadayo ko pa dati sa quiapo iyon across dun sa tulay ng raon as i remember....

Mine collection is in two shoes boxes, that is also kept in another box..may mga iniwan pa ako sa province, yung mga retapes...i checked them a few days ago, and surprisingly, ok pa sila..i need to get my cassette player so i can play them again, or maybe i'll just get a walkman for now...

lampas 100 din yung collection ko...brings back old memories...

dami pinamigay ko na. pero may 2 kahon (shoebox) pa. at may 10+ din tdk sa-x c90 & MA at maxell chrome blank tapes, ewan lang saan nalagay ni-safety nung ondoy

Yung iba tinapon ko na ,inamag na eh, yun iba naman pinamigay ko, mahigit 100 pcs din yun naka hard case pa binibili ko sa quiapo dati, maganda kasi ang selection nun, nangagaling pa sa indonesia at uae yun mga tapes. at maganda quality ng recording..

SOld my old cassettes a long time ago, but I kept some those TDK METAL Tapes those made up of parang heavy die cast on the sides w/ a transparent body & the TEAC's Metal Series w/c is also has a transparent body w/ a reel design innards. Those where the good old days w/ cassette tapes  ;D

Still have mine, plus blank sony metal 54 74, tdk sax-90. 4 decks, sony, panasonic, akai, sansui. The older, browner colored tapes seem to actually resist fungi better.
