holy cow--somehow remembers M.A.S.K. ! 8)

yup, the M.A.S.K. vs. V.E.N.O.M. stories during the series' first 2 seasons would translate well into film, since there are no robots (except for that annoying T-Bob), just vehicles transforming into other vehicles. some of the masks (actually helmets) look stupid, but they could always redesign them.

hopefully they'll stay away from the V.E.N.O.M. created by COBRA angle when Matt Trakker was turned into part of the GI Joe toyline (http://www.oafe.net/yo/gij25trakker.php).

Yeah, this one would be awesome as live-action, but not as a movie kasi masyado marami kwento. It should be a live-action series.

I'd pay to see a live-action South Park Movie.

I don't believe big mecha robots would look good in a movie. Would look like a Power Rangers movie IMHO. But then again, Transformers looked awesome, albeit smaller sila na robots compared kina Voltes V at Voltron.

Afro Samurai would be a good one, but I think meron na talagang plano for a movie version.

Voltron too. I read that they have plans of making a movie out of this. In fact, I made a thread about this before.

I hope Hollywood will create non-animated movie versions of these cartoon classics. A remake of He-Man, which starred Dolph Lundgren in the late 80's, would be great. Dino Riders would be awesome!

Meron din pala ibang mahilig sa MASK dito. I have kept my 'Hurricane' MASK toy until now. Now being played with by my son :)

Brings back a lot of fond memories. My brother had a MASK fighter plane toy that splits in two to become a 'tank-like' figure. That toy is still with me :)

I prefer Mazinger Z though...I saw a YouTube trailer for the Japanese live-action version of Gigantor.

Looks like a live-action Mazinger Z shouldn't be far away...with a successful reboot of the original TV series
