STORY..
The "Umbrella Incident" that took place in Raccoon City was ended with the eradication of the deadly virus by a missile attack ordered by the government. As its operations were suspended on a global scale, Umbrella Corporation stock plummeted. This serious blow to the business giant resulted in its complete dissolution.
7 years later, at an airport somewhere in the United States. An ordinary autumn afternoon. One zombie is unleashed into this peaceful scene to attack everyone. In the airport starting to fill up with the undead, the horrific disaster is about to be repeat itself...

Actually napanood ko na ito (from a leaked copy) and This is better than the RE movies since this follows the original RE storyline.

Yes! Definitely much better than the crap shown in the movies...this one's story is considered canon in the RE universe, and reunites Claire with Leon. 8)

Already saw it. Much better storyline than the Milla Jovovich movies. Just puzzling over the timeframe whether it took place before or after Resident Evil 4. My bet is it happened after since Leon seems to be the automatic "go to" guy of the U.S. Government now after saving the President's daughter. Getting the R1 copy on release.

Angela kind of reminds me of Cindy Crawford with a better toned body. lol
i forgot how many years the RE4 happened after Raccoon City's incident. This movie however is 7 years after.
Oh and btw, the copy i watched has an English audio, thus the American (voice) casts. Amazon's list of details may not be accurate

Plus, after reading some info. This movie pala happened a year after the REsident Evil 4 game. So in RE time line, after getting back to the United States and freeing Ashley (the President's daughter) from her cult captors in Europe, Leon faces the virus problem again in his homeland.
I wonder if this has connection with the PS3 RE5 game to be released next year.

Hopefully Leon or other RE characters make some kind of cameo appearance to aid Chris Redfield in RE5. ;D

So far no leaked news about them are released. But I think somehow they will be involved. After all, capcom is bringing back the virus back in the series. (RE4 is about archaic parasites)

I got to watch it already last night. Angela is indeed hot. :)
It's nice having the soundtrack of a Resident Evil movie be the same as the ones in the games. It's kinda nostalgic hearing those eerie piano tunes just like when you arrange your inventory during game plays. :)

Angela was only hot during the last scene, when her hair was down and she was wearing a dress. Most of the time she kept staring stupidly into space during the entire movie. Give me Ada Wong or Jill Valentine anytime. ;D

Sorry, can't remember the exact price. It's 1,000 something...I don't have a Blu-Ray player, so I just noticed it (as it is displayed beside the Wanted Giftset at Astro Megamall), but did not pay much attention...

No prob! All their BDs are priced like that, except for the special editions like the Casino Royale Collector's Edition, which is about P1,700. :)
