HELP: AVR Dynamic Range
« on: Sep 07, 2010 at 04:21 PM »
mga sirs,

newbie here.. i just wondering what is the difference of AVRs having a dynamic range of 8/6/4/2 ohms from AVRs with -/6/4/2 ohms dynamic range?

for e.g. Yamaha RX-V567, for USA models the dynamic range is 8/6/4/2 ohms, but for Asia models the dynamic range is -/6/4/2. is it suitable a 8 ohms speaker (e.g. Mission M34i, M3C2i, M32i) to AVR with no dyanmic range for 8 ohms?

for Oknyo tx-sr608, the dynamic range is 8/4/3 ohms, is it suitable a 6 ohms speaker?

is there an easy way to understand how dynamic range operates? ??? ??? ???

you can safely use 8 ohm (or even 6 ohm) speakers on any modern AVR. don't mind that dynamic range for now. if you're really curious...

That's OK, you can like or dislike anything you choose. That's the wonderful thing about the freedom
