Tnx. But Im no expert re: LCD. I dont even know/notice what motion blur is. What I've noticed when I got home, is that the TV doesnt have the plastic that usually covers the front sides of the tv frame. But the tempered glass stand have them. I bought the 32cv700 bec of the auto signal booster, and very good PQ(to my untrained eye), compared to other 32" LCD. But when I connected the unit to sky cable w/o digibox, reception seems abit grainy/noisy compared to CRT. Does is need more fine tuning? or is it with my cable connection?

To Qoute Sir Carlo777

Quote
Unless, size is a factor, LCDs (ANY BRAND) by nature, are overly bright, so they tend to bring out all the imperfections of our local broadcasts.

The signal booster of the Toshiba gives some improvement, so if cable is your thing - The Tosh LCD is the better, but not the best bet.

 ;)

nakita ko na kasi audition ng cv700 at ld460. nagustuhan ko sya kasi hard panel. cv700 is soft panel just like lcd monitor on pc.

Actually I don't have any LCD TV as of right now but I'm planning to buy by December pa and here are my top 3 choices:

1. Toshiba Regza 32RV600 - costs about P26K as Western Trinoma (Guys, may 32RV700 na ba and how much?)
Pros
- Full HD 1080p
- Japan LCD Panel
- 10 bit video processing
- Power Meta Brain for 3D color management
- Solid built and good design (black piano finish)

Cons
- a bit pricey compared sa other brands of LCD
- I wonder how are Toshiba service centers compared to LG (as I read good reviews about LG service centers)

2. LG 32 LD460 - P25K at Sns
Pros
- Full HD 1080p
- 100,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
- Good reviews for their service centers
- Eyeing for their 37LD460 at P29K  ;D
- Options for bundled HT. Just add P3500 for HT355S, P10K for HT805, and P15K for HT905.

Cons
- Korean made (does this have to bother me?)
- bleeding issues
- Audio not good (or is it just me?)
- 2 hour playtime issues

3. Sharp 32L400 - at P22495. Just add P2500 for HT-DA641
Pros
- Japan LCD Panel
- Good audio

Cons
- HD ready
- plasticky feel design

I'm planning to buy by December pa naman pero ngayon pa lang tumitingin na ako. I narrowed down my choices with LG 32" and 37" LD 460 series and it's just bugs me about the Toshiba 32RV600 o kung may darating pa bang 32RV700. According sa salesman na nakausap ko from Anson, mga lumang model na daw ang RV600 series that is why may mga AV700 and CV700 models na, because from my point of view, Toshiba renders good color management than LG's.

Sa mga models naman na natanggal sa list ko are the Panasonic LCD TV's which gives so much negative reviews. Another model is the Sony 32EX300, a bit pricey pero yan talaga kasi ang first choice ko, but when the salesman at Anson played a movie which emits so much black (I forget the title), medyo nagpi-pixelated yung movie lalo na in fast action movies (this LCD TV is only HD ready).

So 3 na lang, 32" or 37" LG LD460 models at yung Toshiba 32RV600 (much better kung malaman ko kung may darating pang 32RV700 by December with a competitive price compared to LG LD460 models. Guys, help me decide. Thanks in advance.

By the way, I think I'm leaning to Sights 'n Sounds for my first LCD TV.

@william
you may want LG 32 LE5500 to add on your list? 34k only @ sns.

we have similar choices between 37/32 LD460 & 32 rv600. but when i saw rv600 the salesman told me the toshiba is soft panel while lg is hard panel. toshiba auto channeling is also annoying. that's why tosh is out of my list. now, im narrowing my list to 32ld460+355sd HT or solely 37ld460. but wait, 32 LE5500 is now 34k. if this model comes closer to 37ld460 price i will grab it now. malaking bagay na kasi saken ang 5k difference. ill wait until november 28 (my bday) if this le5500 comes closer to 37ld460.  :D
i like the bluetooth & 120hz of le5500.  :D

@heineken

May nakita akong another model kanina lang, LE5300 costs about P32990 sa SM Appliance Center, I wonder what's their difference.

di ko pa din alam kung 32in or 37 ang bibilhin ko, my budget was only 20k, then i stretched it to 25k for the 32in, now im thinking about that 37 inches.

@william
sorry to confuse you but accdg to sales rep of automatic center, soft panel is much detailed rather than hard panel. hard panel in black scene will always be black while soft panel will give more details on black scene. in short, more richer ang color ng soft panel. correct me if im wrong.  :)

@enzo
i started from pana 32c10 then 32ld460. now, eyeing for 37ld460.
sinagad ko na talaga para wala ng upgrade in the future.  :D

I dont know if I should answer this one sir pero yung black naman sa LD460 kita ko naman yung details kahit black pa sya. I think nasa proper calibration lang ng tv yun Kita ko naman details so far will check later pa sa ibang titles i guess

Sana may stock pa by then bro.
