Actually I don't have any LCD TV as of right now but I'm planning to buy by December pa and here are my top 3 choices:
1.
Toshiba Regza 32RV600 - costs about P26K as Western Trinoma (Guys, may 32RV700 na ba and how much?)
Pros
- Full HD 1080p
- Japan LCD Panel
- 10 bit video processing
- Power Meta Brain for 3D color management
- Solid built and good design (black piano finish)
Cons
- a bit pricey compared sa other brands of LCD
- I wonder how are Toshiba service centers compared to LG (as I read good reviews about LG service centers)
2.
LG 32 LD460 - P25K at Sns
Pros
- Full HD 1080p
- 100,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
- Good reviews for their service centers
- Eyeing for their 37LD460 at P29K
- Options for bundled HT. Just add P3500 for HT355S, P10K for HT805, and P15K for HT905.
Cons
- Korean made (does this have to bother me?)
- bleeding issues
- Audio not good (or is it just me?)
- 2 hour playtime issues
3.
Sharp 32L400 - at P22495. Just add P2500 for HT-DA641
Pros
- Japan LCD Panel
- Good audio
Cons
- HD ready
- plasticky feel design
I'm planning to buy by December pa naman pero ngayon pa lang tumitingin na ako. I narrowed down my choices with LG 32" and 37" LD 460 series and it's just bugs me about the Toshiba 32RV600 o kung may darating pa bang 32RV700. According sa salesman na nakausap ko from Anson, mga lumang model na daw ang RV600 series that is why may mga AV700 and CV700 models na, because from my point of view, Toshiba renders good color management than LG's.
Sa mga models naman na natanggal sa list ko are the Panasonic LCD TV's which gives so much negative reviews. Another model is the Sony 32EX300, a bit pricey pero yan talaga kasi ang first choice ko, but when the salesman at Anson played a movie which emits so much black (I forget the title), medyo nagpi-pixelated yung movie lalo na in fast action movies (this LCD TV is only HD ready).
So 3 na lang, 32" or 37" LG LD460 models at yung Toshiba 32RV600 (much better kung malaman ko kung may darating pang 32RV700 by December with a competitive price compared to LG LD460 models. Guys, help me decide. Thanks in advance.
By the way, I think I'm leaning to Sights 'n Sounds for my first LCD TV.
