@Otepsy, AMD platform ko. :) bale gamit ko is amd b555 x2 unlocked to be55 x4 :-) Pero vid card ko Nvidia, hindi amd (ati).

Bale po eto:

Display: Acer H5360
Vidcard: NVIDIA GTX 460 1GB OC
Source: Power DVD 10 Ultra Mark2 (yung latest)

Bale niset ko lang yung 3D settings ng PowerDVD as SBS then display as nvidia 3d vision ready.

Napansin ko din, maybe it's just me, mas malinaw talaga ang 3D sbs kesa 2DHD mas buhay tlaga sya.

Hi, what video card do you have? Sa Nvidia cards lang pwede yun 3D vision. Pag AMD/ATI ang card mo (5000/6000 series) you can use DLP link glasses if you have a DLP projector like the Acer h5360 and Optoma HD66. AMD's HD3D strategy for 3D 120hz monitors will use the display port interface and sad to say only 1 model is currently available sa Europe. While Nvidia uses the dual link DVI port and there are several monitors available made by Acer, Asus, BenQ, LG, Samsung and Viewsonic.

Thanks.

bali eto set-up ko

AMD phenom x2
emaxx mobo with built in HDMI and Optical (i forgot the model)
Panasonic 42PV70

meron bang way para maimprove ko 3d watching.. as of now kasi anaglyph lang gumagana di ka naman masatisfy sa pq sakit pa sa ulo... kaya di na lang kami manood ng 3d sayang tuloy mga anaglyph glasses ko... i want to try shutter glass or the micro polarizer kaya lang ang worry ko baka hindi gumana masayang lang. thanks!

Bro... di lang glasses kailangan mo. Kailangan mo din ng 3D Display. If I'm not mistaken yung display mo di pa 3d so talagang yung anaglyph lang pwede mo mapagana sa iyo.

As for the nvidia 3d vision glasses, walang tindahan nagbebenta nun locally. Nakuha ko yung akin from a friend and isa lang yun nasa 149usd ata and at the same time dapat nvidia 3d vision compatible din yung vid card mo

Yung officemate ko, merong 3D TV (samsung). Then yung TV nya, may built in na media player (so pwede ka magsaksak ng HDD na may movies via usb), pinahiram ko sya ng trailer ng Despicable me 3D SBS dati, napagana nya 3D. So most probably yung mga copies ko ng 3D ngayon, gagana sa kanya din.

With the onboard video of the emaxx you can only do anaglyph 3d. Pero there are 3 types of anaglyph glasses the common red/blue, green/magenta and yellow/blue (also called colorcode). But I think PowerDVD10 (I haven't tested) only supports red/blue just like TMT3 (which i have tested). I have tried the green/magenta glasses using Stereoscopic Player with 3D SBS files and the colors are better compared to red/blue. They say that yellow/blue is the best when it comes to color retention.

What 3D files are you trying to play? If you want to try shutter glasses you need to upgrade your video card to a Nvidia 3D vision supported card (GTS 430, GT450, GTX460 there are other models that are older or more expensive) plus a new 120hz monitor or 3D vision/DLP link projector. If AMD I would suggest a 6850 plus DLP link projector.

Thanks.

I saw a nvidia 3D vision kit being sold sa Acenet Virra Mall at 14,500 or 15,000 it just comes with 1 pair of glasses plus the IR emitter. I didn't see extra glasses on display. You can order the kit sa Amazon for around $180 and extra glasses for $130. But like I said in my post above you will still a need 3D vision compatible monitor/projector. My plan is to get a Acer h5360 and AMD 6850 plus ultra clear DLP link glasses ($60 each). Hope this helps.

have this lenovo laptop
http://www.wiredsystems.com/store/lenovo-u165-amd-athlon-ii-neo-k325-dual-core-processor-1-30ghz.html
installed with the latest powerDVD10 Ultra MarkII
no problem with playing 2D HD mkv displayed on laptop screen
however stutters when using the 2D to 3D converter displayed on laptop screen

im thinking if acer h5360 3D ready projector will display the 2D to 3D conversion (and/or 3D full/half SBS mkv) without any problem (connected via HDMI). hope you could comment.

As for the Acer h5360 ok din naman sya. Natry ko na din most of the 3d contents wala namang prob din and impressive sya as I mentioned before. Full HD-Half SBS is the best for me. Pero pinaka maganda for PowerDVD10 for me is yung video accelaration, sobrang pinapalinaw nya talaga yung video parang cinema yung dating nya.

However, don't take my word for it kasi mabilis talaga ako maimpress but I already did a demo with my friends and all of them are in awe---dropped jaw with it's 3D imagery. Step up 3D, eto malupet feeling mo nasa stage katalaga din literaly.

Balak mo ba kumuha ng Acer H5360 and iconnect sya sa laptop mo? Not sure yung workaround since ATI radeon ang vid card mo. DLP lang ata pwede for you but di ako familiar perhaps others could help you with this since NVIDIA 3D Vision gamit ko. :-)
