Local service center will accept it but might charge you for any repairs.
Its best to inquire before buying if the unit comes with international warranty.

sir ano gamit mo 3d player and glasses?

Sorry, medyo nawala sa forum ng matagal ... player, I'm happy with the stock player ng nvidia. 3D glasses, yung binibenta ng 3dtv sa amazon or sa ebay. $64 per 2 pcs, so lalabas na $32 each. I like them better than the nvidia, coz it'll work on reflected IR signal, unlike sa nvidia that the emitter needs to be in front of you. nakailang USB extender cables na ako, walang gumana. so i have 2 nvidia glasses that have no use, and 7 of the 3dtv's.

Parang ang hirap ng position sa panonood tapos malapit pa sa screen na malaki.
I do this only when watching 3D, medyo imax ang dating, so immersive with the viewer up close, almost filling your vision with the screen. But I back out when viewing 2D content, mga 4-5 meters away from screen. The seat is comfortable, but the seat apparently is too big for these little kids, kaya sila na rin nag decide to watch that way. :-)

Uh-oh ... my H5360 now has the dreaded white dots aka stuck pixels, less than 700 hours on the bulb. Started w/ one dot a few days ago, 2 yesterday, tonight jumped to 6. Progressing geometrically, it seems.

Time to save up and scout for a DMD chip replacement. In the $150+ range on ebay. I'll repair it myself, thanks to the service manual floating around. There's also a tutorial on DMD chip replacement on an Optoma on youtube, which should be similar.

I pulled the trigger on this one last week. I went this route over the 6510 because this is my 1st PJ. I have no idea as to how it would look like since this would be a living room set up. And I didn't get approval from the department of finance. Wifey was against the idea and was very skeptical of using a PJ over a tv. Her previous job let's her use the a PJ almost daily for pezos and videos and she doesnt like the PQ. My convincing powers had no effect that a business PJ is different from an HT pj.

Anyway after setting it up with a temporary screen using white cartolina bluetacked to the wall I was blown away even with some ambient light it was awesome. And this was just about 72" since di ko pa na set up at wala pa akong long HDMI cable and ceiling mount. Now my wife is a believer. Her jaws dropped when I played Avatar. So far I'm enjoying it.

Ask ko lang. Where did u buy the mounting screws? My unit didn't have any and the universal mount I got was too short. If sa handyman/ace ano klase ginamit nyo.

Thanks

After just above 2years from the time of purchase (around 1500hrs usage), bumigay na yung PJ ko na ito :-[..

just by powering up from standby, i heard a popping sound, then i didn't see the standby red led lit anymore.. i thought it was the lamp.. but when i pulled out the lamp module, it is still intact (looks like)..
then i felt the urge to tear down this PJ to check what really happened (out of warranty anyway).. it turns out that it might be the power supply unit.. i can see visible burnt marks on the power mosfet.. it looks like some arcing took place from the looks of it.. maybe moisture build up..

Miss my H5360. Ordered DMD chip from Alibaba, but post office didn't deliver, the package lost somewhere. Glad Alibaba refunded me the money even if it's not their fault. Before I order again and use DHL or UPS, has anybody here done a DMD replacement with Acer? How much?

Tnx!

To all of you who want to replace the DMD by yourself after you see those dead / stuck pixels, it's doable if you already have opened a laptop and did a DIY repair. There's a repair manual floating around, easy enough to follow. I did my 2nd order at Alibaba last week, through DHL this time, but wondered why vendor hasn't shipped yet. Here's that DMD from my H5360, showing the part number. From the forums I read, as long as part# starts with 1272, it'll work.
