I've tried using ConvertXtoDVD 4 to convert mkv file HD video to DVD and the following were my observations:
- Picture quality is about 90% as good as the source file.
- Audio quality was compressed and do not sound as good as source file (eg. gun fires, car crashes)
Note: Conversion setting was set to DVD9 (DL 8.5gb) thinking that it would not reduce the file size and quality however, I was disappointed since the original MKV file is 4.6 gb and the resulting converted file to DVD was reduced to about 3.8 gb.
I have read in the net that its a "lossless" converter but it turned-out to be not.
Guys, can you recommend any converter (mkv to dvd) that's really lossless. thanks
Got some solution to my previous concerns on conversion quality of this software. After exploring the program, I finally got the optimum settings and my desired output.
