for 15k I'd recommend the following:

Player- those dvd based players like Platinum. I think this is about 6k or so.Advantage is you can update anytime you like. In contrast, HDD based systems like the TJ Media, Kumyoung, etc require you to pay for every month of update that you missed.
Speaker- Daichi karaoke speakers. 5.5k in Raon
Amp - Konzert 502A. 3-4k in Raon? I'm not so sure.

So that leaves the mic. But I'd suggest you extend your budget to get a decent one. It is the link of the singer to the system so a crappy mic would make the whole caboodle sound crappy. I always find it a pleasant surprise if, singing in those corner videoke bars, I find that their mic is a good one which doesn't "suck" your voice. The Samson Q7 is a much cheaper alternative to Shure mics.

Wow thanks for the reply sir. I think i can extend some 3k for 2 microphones. Any particular store in raon that you can recommend?

I cannot recommend a store offhand.
The times I have been there what I did was to take the time to canvass, return to the store with the most reasonable prices and then start haggling.  ;D

Hi i am in the process of converting a small room here to a KTV room  8)

May i get your inputs on what gears to get?

I already have a spare 32" LCD TV. Here's what I need

Karaoke player: +1 sa dvd player although kaya patok ngayon ang tj-media dahil maganda ang tunog pero for future upgrade mo na lang yan.

Amplifier: sakura 733 @ +/-4,700 (kaya daw nito ang 4 na 10" or even 12" speakers like the kr-100)

Speakers: dai-ichi kr-120 @+/-4,300/pair http://www.daiichielectronics.com.ph/krspeakers.html
,
crown 108 @ +/-3,600/pair (yata) basta higher model than 106 kasi +/-300 lang ang diff.
,
wag na konzert kasi mahal

Microphone: samson +/- 2,800 c/o audiophile http://www.audiophile.ph/index.php/contact

I only have limited budget, 15k max. yung bang for the buck setup lang pero decent sounding na

Thanks in advance! O0

Platinum T40plus 6,400
Konzert KSS355v - 3,700

For the mic get the SHURE PG-48. I think it's 1.4K and a bang for the buck.

Sakin malapit na ma completo ang Karaoke Setup ko...
Meron na akong 43inch Samsung Plasma + 2.1 HT
and Platinum T-40+ karaoke...
Kulang nalang ang Speakers and Amps...

Currently using the bundled 2.1 HT na kasama ng TV...
OK narin pero kulang talaga ng lakas...

Nag iisip pa din ako ano bibilhin...
Quote
Konzert KSS355v - 3,700
Konzert AV 302B- 2,500
gaya ba neto?
(300w speakers + 300w amps)

or
(450-500w speakers + 500w amps)
yung KS-455V / KSS-10
+ 500watts amps (sakura or konzert)

KS-455V = 4,200 pair
KSS-10 = 5,500 pair
500w amp = 3,500

maganda platinum dvd if you're not so serious about karaoke. yung tipong pag may occasion or inuman lang. but if you want the best sound with hi-def, and other great features like recording, built in mixer, effects, etc go for tj media 304p. pwede pa online updates via smartcard. never ka na pupunta ng service center for new songs.

4. Consistent ang updated kasi X Series. The T Series release its updated 1-2 months after the update of X-Series. Lastly the T-40/T-40+ DVD drive is just 8X and most of the times the player takes longer to play/load the next song.

Dinagdag ko lang po yung post ni sir joelsoldao..
