« on: Mar 02, 2017 at 02:34 PM »
sirs,

my office is in the middle of the floor with wood partition on three sides and with glass on the door side.  there are some fm stations that are not stable.  initially i placed a foil at the tip of the antenna and still the same challenge.

The best option is to run a line to a remotely placed antenna. If you cannot do that, you can try using an amplified indoor antenna.

got a rabbit telescopic antenna and connected it this morning. after some trial and error on location and position, nakuha din yung station na gusto ko but there are still a few stations that cannot be tuned.

You're welcome. It's really difficult to get good reception behind dense barriers like concrete. Signal amplification can help in some cases, but not all the time. If the building has a centralized aerial feed, you can try tapping into that. Those do sometimes carry a potential, thus a ground loop isolator often helps.

FM transmission and reception depends to a large extent on
the principle of line of sight, meaning from the FM station tower to your receiver, there must be a line of sight...
in buildings, the metal beams and rebars can hamper signals...

kaya limitado ang range ng FM, pag naharangan ng bundok tapos na ang signal....

SW, SSB or single side band can reach more....
