Buying from OLX vs well known shops
« on: Jun 25, 2018 at 05:19 PM »
ano experience niyo sa pag bili ng mga LED sa OLX , saw some selling LED tvs cheaper than the well known shops.
also with 2 year warranty .  ok lang kaya bumili sa OLX?

planning to go for devant since bimigay LG ko ,  pag bumigay na kasi LED parang tapon na, pa repair sobrang mahal halos same price sa brand new one :(

ano sa  experience niyo? pag olx and may shop ok lang kaya?

OLX is the sales portal for individual who want to sell their own items. Sometimes, brand new items are also sold by the bigger stores serving as an online platform for them. You need to check the specs and talk to the seller to ensure that you are getting what you want.

Nakabili na ako before sa olx seller na meetup/pick up is sa cash n carry.

Sabi nung taga anson's hindi sila salesperson nila. Parang consignee siguro? If that makes sense? Di ko din alam how they can get those lower prices eh.

If anyone knows, gusto ko din malaman. Haha

I've bought from an OLX seller lately. The guy was a cosignee of the store in cash and carry. I negotiated the price and met him there. He knew the sales people at the place and facilitated the transaction. I didn't have to pay him extra so that means he will get commission somewhere else.

the price was the best one I could get despite the fact that I am usually pretty good at haggling with the sales people. I paid in cash that was on hand which is always the best way to pay because it gives you so much in terms of leverage.

at the end of the day you still get the warranty from the store and the assistance from their sales people.

it was a pleasant experience. I'd do it again. Fortunately i saved the seller's number.

Had the same experience as Rasta. Saw the post from olx and went to cash & carry to pay and pickup the tv. Laking kamurahan compared sa tindahan ng sapatos.

Ung mga consignee they get bundled or promo sales from the manufacturer. Example buy 1 oled tv and get an smaller led 40" tv. Nabebenta nila ng mababa ung oled tv compared sa ibang stores kase babawiin nila sa smaller tv na nakuha nila ng libre o di kaya sa napakamurang presyo.

had experienced this twice.  once from a known PDVD seller (who may also be found on OLX).  meet up at Anson's C&C and paid there.  I've got the OR from Anson's. gives a very competitive price - if not the least among other OLX sellers for the item I am buying at that time.

the 2nd one I found his ad on OLX as well.  meet up at Anson's The Link.  he's a different guy and not a member (i think) here in PDVD. paid at their cashier and got OR from Anson's The Link.

both experiences are superb.

it's worth noting that I paid at the cashier. Not to the guy directly. :)

haha oo sa cashier talaga ng Anson's.

One time, nakita ko na presyo nung OLX seller. Tried to go sa Cash and Carry to see if they would match the price ng OLX seller, ayaw daw. :p

Di daw kaya tapatan. So best option is to look for the lowest offer ng seller sa OLX and meet up sa Anson's Cash and Carry na lang. Ganda pa nung time na yun kasi may promo na kasama high end LG Celphone which I sold to offset the tv's price. hehe
