Topic: Good Amp for 25k

Hi,

My friend asked me to help him setup first a TV and now a Home Theater but I've been out of this for quite some time so i need the help of the pinoydvd masters. So here is what we need as of now:

-Amp budget = roughly 25k
-To be used = 50% games - 40% video - 10% audio
-Game consoles are PS3 / Wii / Xbox360
-Color of amp should be Black
-More concerned on features rather than sound quality. (We're looking at IPOD/Iphone connectivity or that LAN thing but i think amps with these features cost more)
-5.1 only
-Will be used in the Living room
-Speakers are only the JAMO S606. I know there are much better speakers than this but his concern is not music fidelity. He found the speakers very attractive in terms of form (porma) and price and sound quality was already good enough.
-Should be 2011 model as he needs it to be a 3D amplifier for his 3D TV
-Should use HDMI 1.4+


Any suggestion would be welcome. On a side note, can you explain the LAN functionality of new amplifiers where there is a LAN port installed? How does this work?

I've been looking around the forums and it seems the Onkyo NR509 is a great contender. Available naba eto dito sa pinas? Around how much does this cost?

Also, what's the nearest area where i can test these amps? I'm from alabang.

Ganda din ng Denon 1912 with its Airplay feature. Yun nga lang for sure out of the budget na eto.

By the way, what does this mean:

"4 x HDMI in / 1 x HDMI out (Repeater)"

Ano yung repeater? Is this a good thing or not? I saw this sa Denon receiver
