all the well known brands are good. just get something within your budget.

i got a 32 samsung r81 for almost 60k which is a good price as it was around 70 or 80k at that time. but the lg lc2r (not sure about the model) was just 40k in listening room megamall. sana yun na lang nakuha ko.

Try visit Sights and Sounds at 4th level Shangri-La Plaza.  Sights and Sounds has varieties of 32" LCD TV to choose from.  The sales representative can guide you in features and prices.  Better yet, see for yourself the picture presentation on each TV and compare. There is no better way to choose a proper TV than to rely on your eyes. Seeing is believing!!

If you can still wait, price of a 32 might almost be similar to a 42 next year.
Patience is a virtue  ;) My two cents.
Enjoy what you have!

yup correct platinum, pero parang baliktad ah. the price of the 42 next year is like the price of the 32 now. Im sure jalf the price na yan next year, kasi pababa na prices ng flat panels sa market ngayon eh....sana makabili nako next year.

buy the panasonic lx70 or step up to the lx700-it's worth it and if you want a more cienmatic feel.
the samsung suffers from viewing angle problem. the video quality is ok if you sit directly in front of the screen. try moving aournd and you'll see the problem big time. also, bring your own test dvds when you shop around since most of the shworooms use a hard drive as their demo so you can't see the faults in their product. try to bring a material with lots of dark scenes.
good luck on your hunt.

it makes me wonder why a lot of people are seemingly not aware of or are "comfortable" with having the viewing angle issue present in some lcd brands. this really bothers me a lot especially since i watch home movies with my family. unless you sit close to each other and dead center to the panel then this won't be a problem. also, i think that's not the ideal and real world way to enjoy home entertainment.

the panasonic lx700 is arguably the best 32 LCD out there in the market. the picture quality is top-notch and leans towards reproducing a cinematic feel. this is the top-of-the-line lcd from panasonic that incorporates all of their proprietary video technology. i haven't tested it for gaming or as a pc monitor though so i can't comment on its ability to reproduce texts at the pc level.

So far all lcd are capable of pc nowadays they all accept 1366 x 768 signals. Try playing ps3 and xbox360 w/ it. Visit the office and ask jeni to set it up for you guys and test the unit. There are several units there for you guys to test and see whats suits you best. At least naka ps3 na so if you want to play games or watch bluray w/it at least ready na. Walang daya like what the chain store is doing naka generator lang. ;)
