Topic: Any feedback on LG 32lc4r?

I read the specs of this unit and it says that its an s-ips panel, meaning its a better lcd panel than most brands of the same price. however, i think panasonic 32 lx77 is also an ips panel as well as lx700. Can anybody please provide me the pq of this LG lcd? thanks. Im torn between this lg panel and pana 32le7 or 32lx77.

The Panasonic LCDs have always garnered consistent praise for its pq from pinoydvd members. Im curious as to how LG compares taking into account that it uses the same or an even better panel lcd panel technology.

The LG is quite good at 1300:1/8000:1 (dynamic) contrast ratio, supports 1080p. Can accept 7 inputs, such as 2xHDMI, 2xComponent, 2xAV, 1xD-sub.

IMO, the higher contrast ratios, 1080p, 1 more component input and stylish piano black justify the 2000pphp price difference from the LE7.

thanks for your reply. i saw one at the mall playing a regular dvd and the pq was excellent, considering it was a non-hd source. unfortunately, the shop (here in our province) had no high def material for which i could properly judge its hd pq.

i auditioned this side by side sa LE7... all settings default (tanggal lahat ng enhancements).  Mas natural yung colors ng LG.  Medyo boosted yung contrast and brightness ng LE7.

saw one sa abensons ata sa glorietta, the model is LC4RR, not sure of the model but I'm sure double RR sa dulo. hehe. It already has a built in 80Gb HDD for recording video. hanep since this is the first time I've seen such. I think it's 42 inches.

saw the 32lc4r against all the different brands in abensons showing the same video and this is the best by a far margin.  although i saw that the settings of the LG was not anymore in default.  the LG sales rep surely knows how to adjust the settings !!!

A lot bought na but not from this forum, sa gamers guild sila mabenta. Its better than the 1080p toshiba's and panasonic lx77. Price of lg 32 is more expensive than the rest, but the quality is more superior. Unless pana 32lx700 ang kalaban. LG is way cheaper than this model and both are 1080p capable and using the same pannel.

wala ka na magagawa pang iba, talagang di kasing ganda ng plasma or crt pagdating sa cable reception dahil low res and video nito at mono pa madalas ang sound.  hope this helps.  balitaan mo ako.
