Seriously, Warner Bros. Philippines, this is a really bad move. This title was released on R1 three years ago. Customers who patronize original TV series on DVD titles (and there aren't too many of us) and are fans of the show surely would've purchased this title by now. And... that price for such an old title! Currently, seasons one and two of this series are already going for $19.99 each at Amazon.com.

Maybe you can contact your head office abroad with this feedback. Because seriously, I would've bought this title on R3 had it been released around the same time as the R1 version. I'm just one customer lost, surely there are others.

and the R1 comes in a lovely digipak as well.. i'm guessing that this release is just amarays in a box, right?

Bad Move by Warner.  They usually price their TV Series at 1250.   Viva priced theirs at 3000 (!), but may have seen the error of their ways by pricing Ugly Betty S1 at 1,500.   Warner, on the other hand, is implementing price increases...

I too am surprised by the drastic increase in prices by our local warner.  Normally TV series are indeed priced at 1250.  And these increases are not just by a mere P50 or so...they are in the hundreds.  When the trend is a decrease in SD DVD in general, they counter by increasing prices.

saw this at astrovision festival mall just this morning. There is an ongoing sale and they have this priced at 699 or 799.
