Thank you for the suggestion but I already tried that. When you setup your Xtreamer to connect to your A200, what are the procedures?

Did you just browse thru the Xtreamer GUI and selected the NFS share of the A200 without entering any user name or password?

Yes I did...

I also turned OFF Samba on the A-110/200 to make sure I was only using NFS.

That's why I find it odd that mine asks for a password. I won't be able to turn off SAMBA as I have got a few XBX1's connecting to the A110 SAMBA shares.

What you can try is turn off SAMBA... get the xtreamer to connect, then turn it back on... might work :)

@scifi-fan

One more question for you, if you put your PCH device to standby (power button on the remote) does your NFS share still available. As mine seems not to work when I have it on standby.

I don't suspect my FW (October) for the A110 as the latest (Dec.) FW just fixes the wireless issue and have the same version for the NMT apps.

But just wanted to confirm that NFS share lives even on standby.

Yup... in standby on the Video DAC is turned off. Background apps still work (like NFS/Torrent etc)

Thank you for the reply sci-fan. I would probably be updating the FW then do the NFS testing.

Please help. I noticed recently that my pch a110 started stuttering and losing audio while in the middle of playing a movie. It doesn't do this when viewing standard def movies but only while viewing 720p or 1080p mkv files. It only started doing this a few days ago. I have updated to the latest firmware last night and still the same problem. It will play smoothly at first then will suddenly lose sound and the video starts to stutter.
Has anyone here experienced the same problem? And is there any fix or workaround setting available? BTW I am streaming video via wired LAN from my PC. Any help would be much appreciated.

You have to isolate the cause first...

Move the content from the PC/LAN and move it to a portable drive with USB. Plug that in the A-110, if it doesn't stutter, then you can diagnose the problem with the LAN or the device streaming the content.

This is very good and welcome news indeed, and I thought there were no more update for our A110.

Thanks for the heads up.

Glad to hear that, at least here. I was just wondering why no one in the PCH NMT forum never bothered answering anyone who asked if there's any future update for the A110  ??? ::) ???

Anyone tried the update? Experiences and feedback please...

newbie question:

I got my POPCORN HOUR 110 last year and would like to know how can I download torrents strait from the popcorn hour without using the PC anymore?  (tipid sa electricity -- especially for the big MKV 1080p movies)

After a few months only using the external HD I bought the internal HD for the popcorn hour problem is I can;t seem to find the program where to use the torrent downloader.   Sabi ng iba kasama daw yun when you buy it.  How do I get it?  Do i have to reformat my internal HD?

Tska is there any other way to speed up the booting of the unit?   Parang ang bagal mag boot and mag select ng movies ng PCH ko.  I got the latest firmware nanaman.

Up .... I've also never got around to downloading via A110. Will try this out one of these days.

Honestly, I've always preferred my downloads offline as I do this parallel to working & playing games on the PC ..... also, have heard that download speeds are not optimized when downloading via A110.

As for speeding up the booting ....... I dont think we can do much other than to update to latest FW. The A110's RAM & Flash Memory are on the lower side, since these are last gen (2nd gen) specs ...... much lower compared to the newer A200 & C200 models.

yes you need to reformat your hard drive using the popcorn hour..what you need to do is download the latest firmware from popcorn hour then extract it to the root drive of your flash drive. then go to setup page then maintenance then choose nmt setup wizard then select usb as the source for the nmt apps..

then once you're done installing you can now use the torrent downloader :)

when it comes to booting up..talagang ganon na sya since it has a different chipset compared to the a200 and c200..thanks!

Most of the time it's because the playerpath needs to be fixed sa library.xml... Here's the NMT Root Paths;

thanks sci-fan so that means dapat

Assuming that I have the PCH 110 model and internal HDD siya i should use this:

Internal PCH HDD (A-Series)   file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Video/

(The A series is for the 100 and 110 right?)

So i just need to edit this sa library.xml ko in order for the movies to work.  Where is the library.xml located is this in the JUKEBOX FOLDER (where my popcorn hour is located) or in the C:/YAMJ drive?  < -- PC

Yup it's in the PC where the YAMJ program resides.

Also a lot of people make mistakes regarding case.

file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Video/

is NOT the same as

file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/video/

In the Unix world, directories are case sensitive and since the PCH firmware runs in linux, be careful about case sensitivity mas lalo na sa paths.
