how to maximize my viewing experience?
« on: Feb 22, 2012 at 08:56 AM »
hi to all!! sir i have a question lang po. i recently bought a samsung UA-40D5000 which from the review here from PDVD is a good choice. its a full HD led TV and it came with a dvd player w/ HDMI cable with only full hd upscalling. when i watch some original dvd's from my collection the quality is not that good.

so my concern now is how can i maximize my viewing experience from my system? is it necessary that i buy a HD player or blue-ray player and also HD movies? thanks in advance po!! :)

upscaling can only go so far. get yourself some HD content and playback system to get real HD picture. a matching sound system would also be nice ;)

The video quality will be limited by the content and your player. The upscaling feature of your DVD player can only do so much.

Buy a Bluray player, NMT or you can use your existing PC/laptop (if it has HDMI output).
