The Egreat (newer Realtek 1185/1186)  have both BT and PT(Transmissions with web interface) but personally
I use the PT Transmissions (on Sigma based Egreat )since last year so i can monitor and add jobs remotely via the web interface while i am away from home. I like Transmissions for its bandwidth provisioning for both upload/download.

@TS makiki-hijack ng thread if you dont mind  :)

Tanong ko lang kung advisable ba yung NMT with BT capabilities compared sa separate media player+ dedicated NAS?

Yung friend ko kasi meron syang NMT na hindi makapag multitasking. Meaning kung nagdadownload sya using BT, e napuputol naman yung streaming or vice versa. Nung bumili sya ng NAS at ginamit nya pang BT, ayun at gumanda ang performance ng NMT acting solely as media player. TIA!

it has more to do with processing power of the NMT and the demands of BT. so look for BT which you can custom the upload download bandwidth provision.

I have Sigma and Realtek and i am very happy on the same softwares implementation sa Sigma. I also use 2.5" USB external to keep the power low and unmount/eject my internal disk when doing BT. I find Transmissions BT/PT with web interface really good, but do check the version release.
