The reviews seems great. I just have a small room. Anyone who has this projector? Any comments? Ito po stats nya

E-801 and RD-801 are the same check the pics and the feedbacks at lazada

actually nasa wishlist ko din yan ng pinagpipilian dati between RD-805 sa budget lang nagka talo

Thanks po for the information. Maganda rin po pala ang specs. Love it. If ever, this will be my first entry projector. Ang tanong ko na lang po...kailangan po ba aircon ang kwarto ? or pwede syang tapatan ng bentilador? Thanks po for any response.

like in my setup dito sa sala namin walang aircon [ for now ]
kung medyo concern ka sa heat na lumalabas sa makukuha mo PJ pwede mo siya tabihan tulungan ng EXT FAN like i did sa RD-805 ko kasi maghapon till midnight ko ginagamit [ use as TV ]
so medyo concern ako sa heat niya kaya tinabihan ko ng maliit na FAN 220v palabas ang hangin [ hinde naka tutok papasok hangin ]

good luck and review mo dito once you got your new PJ

hi sir, thanks for the response. May posting po kayo sa home theatre setup? Pero wow, araw araw nyo pong ginagamit PJ nyo? may break-in pd po ba rin yan? any tips on how to take care of the device?

yes i use it as TV for everyday use [ may built in TV Tuner kasi ]
till midnight pag movie marathon HDMI [PS3]

as for taking care of it siguro yung additional fan lang na dinagdag ko sa tabi niya
para di mag init maliit kasi yung fan ng RD-805
then pag napansin ko madumi na yung lens i clean it from time to time

oh and one thing i learned before making a screen or buying a screen you must project it first
para makita at masukat mo yung desired na laki ng need mo for the screen

Thanks po for the response. I'm so loving the setup sir, super cozy and im very sure kapag nanonood kayo super saya. I am feeling the excitement of having my first PJ. I will do what you said na i have to project it first before buying a screen. Ok po ba ang mga binebenta na lazada screen?

Tapos, if its possible pwede po bang makita kung paano nyo po tinututok yung fan sa PJ nyo po? Kasi ako kapag minsan kapag nadadala ko yung PJ ng office ang ginagawa ko tinututukan ko sya ng malaking electric fan po talaga. Yung malitt na industrial fan nakatutok talaga sa kanya.

1) Yung user manual medyo sumakit ang olo ko kasi mali ang ibang spelling and yung grammar pero i am getting the drift naman.

2) Ang inorder ko ay 3D PJ pero yung manual wala naman binabanggit tungkol sa 3D? hehehehe

3) When i checked the "keystone" switch located at the rear naka-max? normal po ba iyon?

yung keystone set mo sa CENTER lang para straight shooter lang normal angle
yung FUSE spare mo yan just in case

Thank you sir swensonb for responding. akala ko yung ilalagay pa akong fuse. Mahina pa naman ako sa mga electronics.

Anyway, can i use this small exhaust fan (6" in diameter) para di masyadong mag-init ang PJ? Yung may saltwater aquarium pa ako ginagamit ko ito to cool the water. Of course, lilinisin ko muna and saan ko sya ipwepwesto?

For now, i will be using my laptop to test the PJ

using an HDMI connection
Dito ko sya i-focus. Maliit lang naman ang room ko. so ilalagay ko sa gilid lahat...im going to test it with clash of the titans

Regarding your extra fuse... in case magpapalit ka ng fuse dito nyo po ilalagay yan between IEC320 (3 prong socket) and the switch.

no need to add a fan for now mukang maganda naman yung nakuha mo PJ medyo malaki yung fan niya sa loob
di gaya nung 805 ko maliit kaya tinulungan ko ng fan setup na yan ! hehehehe

Of course, i made a very quick dry run of my first ever generic PJ. Again, i used my laptop to play my sample DVDs which were Clash of the Titans and Planet 51. The software that I used was cyberlink power DVD 15. I connected it through HDMI. The initial receiver of the projection was my light green wall. So I placed it in my room, turned off my lights and here are the results :

THE SETUP
As you can see, as i'm afraid of overheating the PJ since i dont have an AC in the room, no need for explanation. But as sir swensonb said, it seems that the fans the PJ has would be quite enough for now so I won't be using my monster fan for now.

Clash of the Titans
Well, for starters when i saw the projection, it was quite alright for me. It didn't grab my attention quickly maybe because I am just using my laptop and I tried to tinker with some of the features of the PJ so somehow, it was all experimentation at this point.

Planet 51
I tried adjusting the settings in my laptop and somehow i was quite impressed with what I saw. Again, the projection was just on my light green quite dusty wall but the projection was really good.

The sound seems great, i can clearly hear the dialog although i was just using a 2.1 speaker. Anyway,
I haven't explored all the features of the PJ and soon or maybe this weekend i will be using it with my samsung BD player together with the 72" projector screen that I bought from Lazada.

i have seen some just apply back to back tape to the wall. if di mo ma stretch then you put a frame...

I used similar fabric for my DIY screen and you need wooden frame para ma banat siya ng maayos

yan nabili mo screen para mawala ung creases at waves nid mo talaga ilagay sa wood DIY fixed frame para mabatak maige at i guntacker in place

yung ganyan ko na FREE sa LED86 ko nakatabi lang muna kasi nag DIY nako ng 120"
fixed screen dito sa sala

as per projector bracket ng cdr king im still eyeing for one here sa area ko but none to avail
but i think same sila nung sa lazada price lang siguro nagkaka talo

if available yung pulldown projector screen sa cdr king check mo din kung may extra budget ka para mas
madali i install at ilipat lipat ng area

Just tried the projector using my samsung bdplayer and yamaha receiver. I am quite impressed, the brightness of the unit really works when there is almost no other sources of light around. The fans of the PJ was really good and the air coming out of the exhaust fan is really warm. I watched the 5th episode in the BBC series "planet earth". I projected it to our white wall.

RD806 User here, so far ok naman yung projector, malinaw sya.. you can check my sample vid sa youtube.. kailangan mo talaga sya kabitan ng speakers for audio kasi para sakin hindi masyado malakas yung audio output nya kaya kinabitan ko ng external speakers.. may isang problem lang, meron na syang stuck na pixel na isa.. hindi naman sya pansin kapag bright yung scene sa movie pero pag black halata sya.. hindi ko lang alam kung paano resolve yung problem since wala na sya sa warranty, try ko pang iopen yung projector for diy fix.. but all in all sulit na sya for budget hd projector..

Upgraded to RD 806 from my Unic UC46, satisfied naman ako sa performance. malaki difference nya sa other mini PJ since 720p na ang native resolution nya. Among the other projectors sa price/specs range nya, the cheapest ang RD 806. Sulit sya, good buy.

ang issue ko lang sa RD806 is when i play movies directly from its USB port using a flash drive. Minsan walang sound ang movies, i guess its a codec issue. May nakakaalam ba dito how to solve this issue without buying a separate media player?
