Topic: Planning to buy HT

Hello there!

I'm a newbie here, Im planning to setup a Home Theater when I arrive home in Manila. But right now im here in Amsterdam working as a seafarer and I'm planning to buy L/R Fronts for my HT. I'm eyeing this B&W brand DM303 im not so familiar with it but it is at sale here, Is there anybody here that can advise me about HT speakers? I had BOSE speakers before and already sold it to my friend and I'm also planning to buy my friend's YAMAHA RXV995 for only Php.20,000.00. to match the HT speakers im goin to buy. Is it better to buy HT speakers there in Manila?

I think it's better if you get your speakers here. You may find some models cheaper.

The Yamaha 995 may be too expensive for 20k. You can actually get a newer model brand new for that price. Complete w/ waranty.

Hi Boss!

Is there a particular brand & model that you can recommend me? uuwi na kasi ako this coming December or early January. Mga how much ba is a good receiver there in Manila? I agree with you about the speakers, kasi medyo heavy eh limited ang weight ng luggage ko. saka baka hindi naman ganun nagkakalayo ang price there ng mga speakers, then I would rather buy it there. its expensive to pay for excess baggage and if ever I would buy my friend's home theater receiver yung Yamaha niya on your opinion mga magkano nalang ba dapat yon?
