How often do you re-watch your DVD movies?
« on: Jan 20, 2006 at 03:10 PM »

I find that I view a DVD movie about twice on average from my collection. How about you?

I would think only 10% have been viewed twice in my case.

After I got my projector I wanted to watch almost all my action movies again in 100 inches @ 720p.

Its a truly awesome experience. Otherwise, I would rarely watch a DVD again.

It really depends on my mood. Even for more than 20 times for a single DVD, no problem with me.

I normally watch my DVDs once only not unless i really love the movie.

With some titles though that are really collectibles, i just leave them sealed (well only a few titles lang naman na sealed pa right now) ;)

i agree na pag gusto ko din yung movie, i tend to watch again and again

pero cguro most of the time, i only watch scenes from my DVD's, not the entire movie

i rarely watch my DVDs all over again, only the really good ones (ie. Gladiator and Face-Off just to name some).
most of the time i just go through some of the best & memorable scenes of the movie.  :)

I bought Dogfight when it was initially released back in Febuary 2004. Since, it is one of my favorite movies, i used to watch it like 4-5 times a week. It lasted for about 4 months. I occassionally watch it every now and then, but not that much anymore. Second on my list is Donnie Darko, i am so in love with that film, i bought my copy, summer of 2004. And watched it more than 30 times already.

Depends. Sometime more than four times pag gusto ko talaga (BJD). Kung hindi ko masyado gusto, I never re-watch it. Sometimes if I've seen the movie on the big screen (or on vcd or vhs) and bought a DVD of it later on, I don't watch it at all --- titles like Bonnie & Clyde, Snatch (Superbit) and my LOTR set. Ewan, magulo ako  ;D

from my experience, concert dvds have the highest re-play rate in my collection... 2nd are the cartoon dvds... 3rd yung blockbusters... the rest once or twice lang naisalang sa player.

I just remembered I also re watch my dvd movies when we have guests who want to watch a movie of their choice at our place ,and it so happens we have already watched it. Specially pamangkins.

I also agree with one of the posts above, when there are new gears, you tend to watch again to see how this movie would look or sound like in your new gear.
