Got the dvd finally thru the kindness of talisman30. Its nice to reminisce again this film which I saw at the now defunct Sm North Preview Studio back in the late 80's. We were only less than 20 among the audience but there was a tremendous applause when Ethan Hawke started to stand from the chair to express his protest!
The retrospective docu was a blast from the past although Robin Williams is missing. Touchstone Home Video should use the old amaray cases. The dvd looks fragile and ugly in their new packaging. My same predicament from their special edition release of BEACHES.
The video looks wonderful and stunning in widescreen version. More improvement from the barebone release and the audio captures immensely the soothing musical score by Maurice Jarre.
