Speaker Question?
« on: May 08, 2006 at 05:50 PM »
I pulled out a pair of 10" 500 watts-subwoofers  from my car sound setup (including the amplifier which drives the subwoofer).    I need a bigger room in my trunk  :) . My question is can I use them as a sub woofer for my home audio (DVD, PC, Stereo).  Also, how do I power my amplifier (the one i used to drive the subwoofers its a 1800watts).  Magagamit ko pa rin ba sya? Or might as well trade those to stuff for HT gadgets?  Thanks!

If you can find a 12V DC power supply with sufficient amps, say 5 amps, I think you can power up the car subwoofer amp.
