Pioneer Plasma TV service deserves praise
« on: Oct 15, 2007 at 12:31 PM »
Hi,

I would just to share with you my experience with Pioneer Service center, yung main distributor yata nila ito, yung authorized distributor lang ng plasma tv.

I had problems with my PDP-427 nung June. Some pixels go black kapag super white yung background.

Di niya din sure kung ano yung problem, so pinapull out yung unit.

They tried replacing the board daw pero ganon pa din, so iniisip nila baka yung panel mismo sira.

Lahat yon happened in a span of 1 week. I am so happy with the service ng Pioneer.

Congrats, bos parak.

A completely failed pixel on a plasma panel appears as a black dot on the screen.  But dead or stuck pixels are very unusual for plasma displays, that's why Pioneer Singapore wanted to see the unit.

good to hear bos parak, can i ask how did you notice this? did you deliberately scanned for it or did it manifest during use of the unit, how big is each pixel?

Hi Kingkydoo, ganyan din ako dati. pinipigilan ko na lang sarili ko bumili ng much cheaper flat panel tv kasi from what i have seen via window shopping, pioneer was the best. so matagal din ako nag antay, pero well worth it, and not just the product but the service din sulit.
