Samsung 40N81BX
« on: Feb 11, 2008 at 09:46 PM »
Figured I start this thread about the Samsung 40N81BX in the hopes that there are other souls like me who have also purchased these flat panel.
In a nutshell, its a full HD LCD TV in all it its 1080p glory.
But since I don't have a Bluray player, I use my PC to play downloaded 1080p torrent movies.
The panel is actually stunning although I found my PC is already heavily challenged decoding H264 videos, even using CoreAVC.
Now I'm planning to upgrade my PC to something more powerful to enjoy stutter free 1080p 1920x1024 resolution movies.

Any of you guys have good experience with Sammy flat panel?

BD or HDDVD is still way better than torrents downloaded at 1080p. since you spent so much on the tv...just get a ps3 (20k php) or an hd dvd player

just my advise.

Got the LA40N81BX at 90k. A tad higher but nevertheless its full HD.
Ok nman performance ng flat panel na to for the last 2 months.
And yes, I wud love to get a PS3 albeit wala pa budget so I'm just contented to play 1080p movies from the Internet muna:)
Any other users of the LA40N81BX on this board???
