Just wanted to share this recent discovery of mine -- a very cheap, albeit small, Full HD (1920x1080) flatscreen.

This could very well rival the Samsung 2333HD . . .

*Note -- I am not connected to either LG or PC Hub. I just got excited to get wind of a promising & well-priced item like this. ;D

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is a very nice and good value FullHD TV/PC Monitor indeed. Am very interested in this one.

I suppose you already have this. Pls. provide us with your feedback/experience on this unit for both TV, Movie, and PC use. XD Engine should be good in upscaling our SD TV broadcast.

By the way, what cables are included with this unit? I suppose there is a remote control also.

Any feedback on this monitor? Its sad that the 2333HD is sold for so much here converting the dollar value it comes out to about 14k, so this LG seems like a great substitute for that.

Wow nice find. I just dont want this product to be "too hot" so it will stay cheap (in price).

Ganda nga 'to at mas mura compare sa Samsung. Any user review? Meron kyang built-in tv tuner 'to?

Ano disadvantage nito as against the real LCD TVs... Samsung 3 or 4 series that are more expensive and not FULL HD?

For the owners of this nice unit, can you pls. comment on its performance when used on PC/Console gaming. When used on FPS games, during panning, does this exhibit noticeable lagging? Pls. advise. TIA.

I saw this model today in an appliance center. They have many units on stock.

I saw the box marked HD Ready. And the sticker at the upper left side of the unit labeled HD Ready also. Couldn't find any FullHD markings anywhere. I believe LG website indicated this is a FullHD unit (1920x1080). Usually "HD Ready" markings belong to 1366x768 panels. Quite weird.

Can we get feedback from owners whether they could get the full 1080p details thru HDMI?

seems not FullHD as per sticker on the unit HD Ready...  ::)

it's a more expensive selling outside the country....  :(

Originally, HD Ready was used on TVs that didn't have an HD Tuner ("ready" because you need an external tuner/STB/media player to display High Definition). HDTV was reserved for TVs with HD Tuners. I think LG stuck with that naming convention, as the display panel has a 1920x1080 matrix.

Nowadays, people interchange the term and sometimes relate it to resolution.

This is available at Abenson for P15,999. I thought 5K more for additional 10" is more like it...

I believe you don't get Full HD with additional Php5k for a 32". You would be paying a lot more for it. I'm sorry but I don't consider TCL brand here. Just the well known brands.

If they don't lower the price of php15,999, a better option is to get the Samsung 2333HD at php15,500 cash at one of the computer stores.

LG M227WA is just 21.5", while the Samsung 2333HD is 23". The difference aside from the viewable screen size are: Samsung does support Dolby Digital and have digital optical out. While LG have PiP and SVideo input.
