nirv - pre, thanks for lettin us audition your equipment. oo nga pala, we'v noticed na yung TV rack mo medyo bumibigay na in the area beneath the TV. check it out. Sayang naman yung amp mo kung mabagsakan ng TV.

joms- Those are not the marble speakers that John5479 was referring to. The one he was referring to uses an 8 inch woofer with 2 silk dome tweeters.

Pre, matagal ng naka lundo yung TV stand ko. Naghahanap pa ako ng bagong rack so in the meantime tiis muna. $:-\$

bullet, and others, what is your ususal setting sa volume ng AASWFO3 mo? how do you adjust it through the volume knob at the back or through the controls?

I usually set my volume & bass control to #4 or #5. It is enough for my taste.

I sometimes go beyond that for testing purposes. Go ahead & experiment for the best setting that will satisfy you.

I just set it #3 and #2. para mas madali better set first the AVR level of the sub to 0 from a good lessening volume then adjust your SUB volume na.

Maliit lang kasi kwarto ko kaya ang setting ko sa volume 2.5 while ang bass ay 3.

you know what, initially i really thought na mahina lang, kasi parang i didn't feel it or note the difference, but when i went up to get something with the volume low lang,ABA, i can feel the vibration sa 2nd floor ko grabe, swabeng swabe pala, then even my wife, just to convince her of the difference, noted it when i made her listen to a same scene with and without the sub. Pati sya amazed!

anybody, i need immediate help.
when i turn my subwoofer on, there is only a humming sound all throughout, unaltered/unaffected when i turn the volume knobs, parang grounded, i already checked all the connections and no problem naman. what seems to be the problem?

van wilder- Try to adjust your RCA connections in your sub. Baka maluwag yung connection thus the humming sound. Dapat wala yan. Anyway just contact me if it still persists and we will take a look at it.

i tried. i texted you twice kanina, anyway, was able to talk to anthony, and he heard the humming sound over the phone, the humming is present with or without the rca and the volume of the hum doesn't change. the moment i turn it on the hum starts too. baka raw daanan nya soon. hopefully talaga soon kasi paparinig ko na nga sana sa nephew ko who's arriving tonight kaya i tested it this morning.

yup now that i learned most of the features of my PIONEER VSX 811s-s enjoy na enjoy na ako...

about the dimension of my custom made sub, i think its 22 by 22-- m using 15" driver kasi. Grabe sa lakas nito kaya i always open my windows to dissepate more sound.

how would I know if my speakers sound good? I was fiddling around with my setup recently and, I played a DVD I could have sworn I was using 5.1, yun pala my amp was set to stereo.. I almost couldnt believe it untill I walked up to my center channel and placed my ear beside it. Does that mean that the Stereo imaging is good?

most likely, proper placing of speakers can give that 3d effect in stereo.
