Warner Sets Up Hotline For TTT Discs
Finally...
September 19, 2003 - Warner Advanced Media Operations (WAMO) and New Line Home Entertainment have finally admitted what a lot of us have known for a while: there's a bad batch of discs in The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers.
The problem surfaces in chapter 51, near the end of the film, where the disc will start to skip during Gandalf's statement "The battle of Helm's Deep is over. The battle for Middle-earth has begun." A number of IGN readers have reported skipping during this scene, and on a wide variety of DVD players.
WAMO has set up a hotline, run 24 hours a day. The caller will get recorded instructions and additional contact information if necessary. The hotline number is (866) 262-2403.
