mga sir, i saw 2 preamps when i passed by yesterday... one 7.5k and another 12k (with phono stage). just wondering if anybody has auditioned it or has asked the owner what kind of tubes he's using? was gonna ask him but he was busy talking to a customer. thanks!

The amp is 60w x 2 uses 3 6sn7s and 8 el34s, 4 per channel and is ss rectified using hexfreds, each channel has chokes for better separation according to andrew sevilla. The power tubes are in parallel, ultralinear push pull configuration, pentode mode and running on class A. and this is one heavy amp

Initial impressions are a very wide soundstage, lots of details and it can rock...tried stairway to heaven and the separation between instruments and vocals is breathtaking

of course it helps that the amp i am using is the wiredstate tono preamp...proudly phillippine made folks!

yup! military look na siya ngayon... me binago rin sa design ng circuit. pwede na siyang i-switch sa triode o ultralinear mode.
