if i am not mistaken,the amp costs PhP 16.5K. initial impressions, has PRAT in pentode mode & an engagingly warm mid in the triode mode.

the amp was coupled with a DIY floorstander which is a bit on the bright side. medyo distracting 'yung brightness... unfortunately, wasn't able to try it with Alon IV speakers. will do that next time.

BTw tried the 8 ohm setting and for me provided a more pronouce mid and high yun bass naging tight which i like, played some old cd and gave a new attack sound.

nice huh its that flexible, i guess the conditions that sir arnoldc mentioned are met in this amp.. its like having 3 amps rolled into one, each with its own signature optimized for a particular type of music? sir john5479, i think your monoblocks will kick major booty.

The amps wont be done till end of feb or 1st week of march. If someone will help me carry them amps why not? hehe.

seriously, i would love other people also to hear this combo & to know how they find it. problema lang, maliit din lugar namin... saka kinain na ng dahlquist 'yung kalahati ng lugar, eh.

baka me gustong mag-volunteer ng lugar. okay lang sa 'king mag-hakot ng speakers at ibang gears...

sigue, will make inquiries. baka makadaan ako ulit this weekend.

pero, if you can drop by phasetron, so much the better. at least, you can discuss with the owner your requirements. he is usually there at around 6:30-7 pm.
