ang galing ng pagkakagawa nila.  it doesn't focus on the zombies per se and instead puts the characters' day-to-day struggle to stay alive and stay civilized.

can't wait for episode 3!

episode 3 is a little slow compared to episode 1 and 2 but at least the plot is going somewhere....

Nevertheless, it was a still a good episode, which made us get to know the characters a little more. I keep forgetting that The Walking Dead's first season only has 6 episodes...so 3 more to go.  :'(

Series creator Robert Kirkman has been tapped to write the screenplay for episode 4.

ep.3 was excellent.
I feel like the series came together in this episode.
Character motivations is clearer here.

^ Season 1 is only 6 episodes, but they have already announced that Season 2 will have 13 episodes.

Walking Dead Season 2 When?
Source: THR
November 15, 2010

Three episodes to go until The Walking Dead exits AMC, closing out its first season (I suspect it'll be a doozy of a cliffhanger).

Don't fear, a second season is on the way. AMC has given season two the green light and, today, insiders are telling The Hollywood Reporter we probably won't see it hit the small screen until next October.

Perfectly understandable. There are 13 episodes to produce next year, as opposed to six, and production hasn't even begun yet. Plus, you have to take into account AMC's other slate of television shows.

THR added in their news item that Frank Darabont will likely slip back into the director's chair again, too.

very good episode--Robert Kirkman delivers with the script; after all, he did write it first, LOL. the casualties here should remind everyone not to get too attached to all the characters, hehe. i read the books and know what's gonna happen to most of them, but Frank Darabont has stated the TV series could deviate from the books, and has even mentioned that they might even introduce Michonne before the 1st season ends.

2 more episodes to go...darn, why didn't AMC order a full set of 12 episodes man lang for the first season?  ;D

Well Michonne is perhaps the most important character besides Rick and Carl in the later issues. I just read the hardcover volume 6 of the comics covering issues 61-72 in around 45 minutes while drinking coffee at starbucks. What's nice about the Walking dead as a comic book series is that the pacing and plotting is done in a easy to read manner. The weird thing is that a kid around 5 started looking at what i was reading.  ::)

^^ I like it better than episode 3 actually, keeps you attached more on the characters especially on Shane and his psycho moment  ;D

that scene with Amy coming back was very intense, I was dumbfounded on that CDC thingie, It's definitely not in the comic version, pretty excited on what will happen on next week season finale

well you can't really expect every episode to be action-packed, LOL

very good character moments here; hopefully their number won't be further reduced. and as Ashburndaride pointed out, dr. jenner of the cdc is a new character not in the comics, just like some the survivors (t-dog, morales, jacqui, the dixon brothers).

a 3-minute scene from the season finale can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgRw5JcIKVA

I was able to watch the first episode on FOX.  I'm just wondering why the succeeding episodes weren't shown anymore?

The pilot was shown on 3 different channels: FX, FOX, and Channel [V] (go figure)  ???

FX (channel 156 on SkyCable) is the regular channel for The Walking Dead; it's shown every Friday night, with replays on Saturday afternoon.

I didn't read the comic books prior to watching this tv series. The first 2 episodes were quite intense, but the suspense sort of tapered off during the succeeding episodes. Episode 5 was dragging, too much drama was focused on the 'soon-to-be-zombies' (the girl & guy). I'm wondering what's in store for episode 6 for the characters and with the mad scientist  ???

ang alam ko nagoverheat lang yun RV kasi sira yun radiator hose.  nilagyan lang nila ng duct tape para lang maremedyohan kaya lang bumigay din. then parang sabi nun isang kasamahan nila na hahanap sya ng duct tape.

Yup correct.  Si Shane yata yun who saw a gas station up ahead.  He went there to see what parts he can find.  Then it is assumed na he was able to get parts for the RV to make it run.
