Well Rick was obviously panting while the zombies were not even breathing...hahaha..but then when it's time to smash the zombies' head, it always seems easy enough. hehehe

The zombies in this series are very slow walkers but can run pretty fast (considering their dead muscles). hehehe

What was that Xbox360 game I used to play where I had to maintain a safe distance from zombies to kill them effectively while escaping with minimum health damage? hehehe

I actually enjoyed the Season 2 premiere. Then again, I'm not one to take monster films seriously. They're a lot more fun when they're full of stupid humans.

Just to think loudly, since they already have a truck, why don't they just run over those zombies, at least to minimize those that they'll need to face after getting the needed medical supplies. Or better yet, one of them stayed in the truck and when the other one gave the signal, the person drives the truck near enough to pick up the other guy with the med supplies.

I also noticed that the zombies in this episode are moving a bit faster compared to the previous episodes

kind of slow on zombie action, but i have to agree this one's a better thought one than ep01. though that part where carl was screaming from the pain of the bullet fragments being extracted and rick could not do much about it made me squirm more than any zombie army attack scene.

No longer, but he's still listed as developer in the credits. Season 2 will be divided into 2 main story arcs: the first seven episodes comprise one arc, which will end on November 27, 2011. Then the series will go on hiatus and return on February 12, 2012 for the next six episodes, which comprise the second story arc.

Though AMC won't confirm it--anything about Darabont's firing is considered off-limits to press--people in the know have stated that Darabont's final involvement with The Walking Dead is Season 2's first arc, and new showrunner Glen Mazzara takes over with the second arc in 2012.

dahan dahan niya ginalaw yung door lever, pero sabay swing open and tinginan with the zombies and parang daga na hindi alam saan tatakbo

can the zombies in this series climb? e.g. would a gunner on a tank or tower be safe?
i like thinking of these zombie scenarios

They can climb short fences, but they can't climb steep ladders--see the episode where Rick and Glenn dash up a building's fire escape (2nd episode yata); the walkers are just crowding around the ladder and I was expecting one to start climbing up, but no one did.

wow...that shane situation

I dunno it's really hard to blame shane it that situation, It's harsh but it's all about survival...

here are Shanes's options

A. Shane strained gives Otis the medicines, gives Otis time to get away make himself as the bait & shoot himself. Otis makes it back to the farm with the medicines >> shane dead, carl Lives
B. Shoot Otis (F*ck him! he shot carl anyway) make him as a bait run away back to the farm with the medicines and just lie to everyone >> otis dead, carl Lives
C. Shane & Otis runs out of bullets & get caught by the zombies >> shane, otis & carl dies

what would you do?

besides, if they follow the comic fate of Shane.... Carl will settle everything

Wow ..... what a curveball by the TV writers. Somebody went completely darkside.

Though I kinda expected such a thing ..... since apocalyptic conditions will likely result in such a scenario.

Not me. Otis risked his life to save Shane. Shane's ankle was sprained so *he's* the one slowing them down. Otis is an EMT so he's more needed in the farm and I think he more than made up for accidentally shooting Carl by risking his life to get the proper equipment. So I believe it's perfectly reasonable to be repulsed by Shane's actions.
