I don't get it ....how did Dale conclude that Shane was hiding something about Otis? I thought that Shane kept whatever happened well-hidden. Does Dale have psychic abilities or something? It's either that or just bad exposition to obviously rush things for next week's mid-season finale.

Well for one thing, Shane shaved his head immediately after getting back.

Holy crap...great midseason finale--those final minutes were heartbreaking.

Didn't really expect that, but then again, they already departed from the status of some characters from the comics, so why not depart some more?

How so? Sa comic book Sophia is alive. I was surprised myself they killed her off.

it's been tad too long for sophia to survive alone and that zombie hunting catching is such a dead give away, it doesn't give you the idea that hershel keeps only the walkers they know....

besides all that tough survival speech by Rick & Shane is a ticking time bomb waiting to happen

From season 1 it has already been established that they are not following the comics to the letter. But it's still more of a surprise that a character is killed when in the comic book she is still alive than a dead character in the comic book being alive in the show. Besides there is still the possibility the tv Shane might be killed. But for a character like Sophia who still has a lot of presence in the comic book being killed this early is a bit surprising.

^ Season 2 will last for a total of 13 episodes. 7 were already aired. The series is currently on hiatus & will resume on February 12, 2012.

Uh, guys? Not sure what the forum rule is for spoilers (how long till something isn't considered a spoiler anymore), but I haven't watched the last episode yet, so a few of the posts above spoiled it for me. It'd be great if you used the spoiler tags, just to be safe.

^ I'm not sure if I'm comfy with a day after airing. Sometimes I'm unable to watch an episode until much later because of work, I'm sure it applies to a lot of members here. I personally think one week would be fair, parang by then the next episode is out (when applicable) the spoilers of the previous episode have already become part of the overall plot by that time.

some thread starters usually add "spoiler alert", in their title so would be readers are warned that the topic/thread contains spoilers.
