the comic book got me hooked.. and since mukhang malayo ang storyline nya sa tv series, parang im having the best of both worlds.   maganda ang comic book.

feeling ko baduy yung dialogue sa comic book.
but i would like something in between the comic and current tv eps ... yung hindi dragging ... but still shows the daily drudgery of the zombie apocalypse.

the last episode i watched so far is ep. 12 and prior to that episode 9 (so i skipped 2 episodes). i do have a question as to why shane became a walker without being bitten by a zombie. same question goes to the boy they captured which also became a walker after shane offed him and they confirmed that there were no zombie bite marks on the boy.

All of them are already infected once they died they will turn to a "walker" this was told to Rick at the end of season One by the CDC scientist

AMC announced during Talking Dead tonight that actress Danai Gurira (last seen in HBO's Treme) will play the role of Michonne in The Walking Dead Season 3.

lori in the comics is not that irritating as she is in the tv series.. laking gulat ko din nung pinatay nila si lori pati un baby sa comics.. stuff in the comics are really very heavy.. u really get emotionally involved with the characters when u read the comics.. i don't get that with the tv series.. i still love the comics.. i don't know or maybe it's just me..

They can't/shouldn't kill off both Lori AND Carl in the series. Rick is our bida and he's their reason why he keeps struggling. If you kill them off, he'll have no reason for living.

yeah, it's just my wishful thinking.  with them gone, we can have a more violent Rick, one who does spend 3 episodes debating whether to kill Randall kinda like the comic Rick ... e.g. Randall : Martinez

Do you think Rick is immuned to the virus or at least to the virus' effect that reanimates the dead as a non-thinking zombie?

I mean Shane said his heart stopped (no pulse) in the hospital. Could it be Rick reanimated as (still) a normal human?

He might be the key to solving the problem..... or worse.... could he be the source of all of this (virus spread when he got hospitalized?)

The TV series has the advantage of picking up the good parts & revising the stories & characters to cater to the bigger audience.

Still, I'd choose the comics ..... there was far more sex in the comics than in the TV series.
