  Me and my brother are hooked. Got the you-know-what-from-you-know-where and began our nightly date with TWD. 2 episodes per night para mas exciting. We're on season 2 now.

1. Saan galing ang first group of zombies?  Suddenly all dead came back to life (pati nakalibing sa sementeryo) ba, or, only those that died from the moment the "zombie virus" kicked in became zombies?

2. Naagnas ba (further) ang zombies?

3. Why don't zombies eat each other?  Kasi mabaho?

4.  In the beginning, were there more zombies than the living?

5.  If a zombie gets a nice meal, how will it digest the food?  If a zombie's gut had been gutted badly, where will the food intake be stored?

I was surprised too when I found out that he's from UK. I thought he was an American. It made me appreciate his role in the series more.

^^ A zombiephile of sorts here ..... been hooked since I first watched those early Romero films.

Here's my two-cents worth:

1.) If this is a general question ..... and following Romero's universe, the origins of the zombie phenomenon were never explained in detail. We just hear radio reports about sporres from outer space, wrath of god, etc.

Even the recently deceased came back to life in Romero's world.

2.) Yup .... zombies apparently get burns from all that walking under the sun. In Danny Boyle's films, zombies were being kept in chains .... theory is that they will eventually starve or run out of energy, once food intake is stopped.

3.) Yup ..... zombies apparently smell the difference between their kind and the warm-blooded.

4.) Can't say .....wasn't detailed in most zombie films.

5.) Most films point out that zombies are just re-animated beings, with only the most basic urges ..... the need to feed. I guess, it's not much about sustenance, but just acting on urges.

Like I said, zombie explanations vary from film to film.
