I can see where this is going Merle as the Governor's prison rat, look how pissed Glen was in the sneak preview when Rick brought someone back in the prison altho I think I heard Glen said "she" hmmmmm....

Can't wait for the 2nd half of the season ...... can't wait how the dilemma that the Dixon brothers face, will pan out.

It's possible that Merle finally goes to the good-side - which would make for one more decent fighter for the Prison's defense ....... there's also the possibility that the Guv'nor will use Merle as a spy to infiltrate the Prison from the inside.

Easily, the addition of the Dixon brothers was the best thing that the writers added for the TV series.

Also, the entry of Tyrees finally gives the show a legit afro-american lead - a great big help to Rick as well (following the comics storylines).

Though Merle wants to gouge the Gov's left eye right now, he may be "persuaded" to act as spy with Daryl as hostage in Woodbury.

Or to thicken the plot, It might be Daryl who will be the spy, and Merle the hostage.
